the room was very clean and was just a very nice room with a good sea view. only 2 mins walk from the beach.

Friendly, Relaxing , Enjoyable weekend away with my Grandson. Landlady very helpful and friendly. We had twin room with a sea view and balcony. Lovely. I would definitely revisit and recommend to my family and friends. The weather was much better than forecast which was a added bonus.

Stayed at this hotel was great close to all the shops amusement and was a nice room see view the owner was friendly every day after coming back gtp my room it had been cleaned fresh tea/coffee and cup had a tv in the room I would highly recommend. This hotel /guest house to any body wanting a nice friendly cheep place to stay in skegness

we really enjoyed our stay at woodthorpe.amanda went out of her way to put flowers and champayne in our room for when we got there. as it was our wedding anniversary. we slept really well and loved the breakfast.amanda was really ill on the monday as we were preparing to leave.we hope that everything went ok at the hospital. we will defo be staying again. thankyou for everything.x

The location is fantastic, we had a nice sea view and its literally a minutes walk from the main shops/pubs/amausements. Our room was spacious, had plenty of tea and coffee, milk etc. The room was nice and warm. We didnt opt for breakfast so cant comment on that. The owner was friendly and helpful and not patronising or strange as I've read in other reviews. She welcomed us with a smile, explained the basics and kindly showed us to our room. We got a friendly goodbye in the morning. Thankyou!

Friendly owner and no restictions on coming and going. Yummy breakfast. Clean and an en-suite with toilet , shower and washing facilities.

could not book in when we got there had to wait for an hour only sore the staff as soon as we booked in seen no staff to make coments to the room was over full wer went into a room with a 4 poster but there was a single bed in there so the room was crampt the room was in bad need of decerating would not stay here again and would not recamend to anyone

The rooms were were dated,a bathroom you could hardly move in,condesated windows and dirty blanket.The room was freezing despite the heat being on

We had a warm welcome from the landlady who was very friendly and informative. The breakfast was amazing, lots of choice, full portions and perfectly cooked. Excellent value for money.

My son (Aged 3) and I stayed and had a boys weekend on the beach and in the slotties. The manager Amanda made us feel very welcome and my son mentioned what a nice lady she was.

Although it didn't bother us or keep us awake after all that fresh air it was quite noisy with passing traffic as there was no double glazing. After a while though you didn't notice it as much

I have stayed here a couple of times and always feel welcome. The room has everything you could need and is lovely, warm and spotlessly clean.

the landlady was lovly and v ery friendly explained all in great detail the room was spotless and had great view was very central to everything and didnt have to pay for parking all wkend

your card system did not pay for the booking but was lucky the room still available i did however pay it again but i think u need to look into that cause in hi season it mite caused problem

Four poster bed,sea view,quiet,friendly.

Very friendly,helpful. Room was clean,had everything you need for a short stay.

It had a very nice atmosphere and the view from our bedroom window was stunning looking out over the sea in the morning.
