Everything was fine until 6 o clock in the morning when a family with at least 2 children started getting ready to leave. The children were making a lot of noise and the parents did not attempt to stop them.
Unusual room.. great location
Bed Breakfast too expensive
A nice stay Good location Good and clean room Good value for money in a afamily room
Breakfeast was very basic and dinner room not very appealing
Breakfast was very good
Modern clean facilities very close to main road ateries into Bath, Wells and Cheddar Gorge all great places to visit. Would stay again if in the area.
The accommodations were very nice, as were the people.
Too hard to get to
clean and spacious room, quite but convenient location, friendly staff, good value for money will definitely come book again.
Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, lovely location. Slept well and would come again and would only stay for one or two nights.
Kids said the sofa bed was uncomfortable. Annoying that we couldn't eat in the restaurant in the hotel, we had to leave the hotel and walk over the road to have breakfast and dinner. There was no explanation why this was the case!
Friendly staff, large comfortable room. Very family friendly - made for a relaxing break.
Restaurant facilities lacking - we had to walk to restaurant and breakfast was expensive and not substantial.
Best priced hotel near Wells. Lots of parking. Nice breakfast. Good value.
The ugly Witch in the entrance hall and her counterpart in reception. The real life witches around are very good looking. The Witch in entry hall is scary and unpleasant.
Room size, value for money. Quality of food in restaurant and good value breakfast, especially continental. Wi-fi improved since last visit.
As a real ale drinker, lack of choice still a problem. Lager or cider only, not even a keg bitter. I still feel staff training still lacks something. When asked for fruit tea (on menu) member of staff did not seem to understand, finally stating there was none. Yet at breakfast next morning they were readily available.
Good size rooms and lovely views the hotel bar was lovely to and the food was very nice
The bed was like sleeping on the floor
The large room is basic, but provides all that is needed for a good night's sleep. The restaurant has great food. We had scrumptious dinners and a large selection of food for the Continental breakfasts. Our hostess was friendly and attentive.
Close to where we wanted to visit parking good ,breakfast menu was excellent for the money . Bedroom with on suite was lovely and clean . Glad that there was a lift as my wife is disabled .
we found that although the bed was very comfortable the pillows were not as they were thin and we used the spares but still had trouble getting to sleep .
To have the option of the on site restaurant also the car parking
The bed was not comfortable, too hard but bearable for a short stay
Spacious, comfortable rooms. Those at the back, first floor, are much quieter than those on the ground floor overlooking the lively car park and social area. Great walks close by.
Additional cost of breakfast.
Good location for wookey hole but also other attractions and locations for sightseeing. Hotel was clean and rooms were comfortable.
Having only one place to eat evening meal if you didn't want to leave site.
Good simple food in the pm and am meal. Good parking Good clean rooms Very quiet and peaceful location with Wells only 10 minutes down the road.
The rain ! But that was down to someone else!
Centrally located for, firstly, Wookey Hole Caves, local preserved railways, coastal towns, country villages and the Cheddar Gorge.
Rooms were average hotel rooms good location to sight see
Staff weren't that friendly and hogged bar area for drinking in evening, breakfast was very poor for the money, half an English not a full english
Spacious., quiet, low key, relaxed, comfortable.
I liked everything but I would have liked a bigger portion of mashed potato. I was still hungry as I'm gluten free and that is limiting.
Big comfotable rooms, close to Wells, lots of parking, great value.
The excellent special deal that we got. Clean rooms, excellent bedding, lovely buffet continental breakfast , or you could have a fully cooked breakfast.
Slow and not really attentive service at dinner.
Breakfast too costly
