Didn't like having to go to a different building across the road for breakfast and evening meal.it seem to be very child friendly, more suited to younger couples..

Can't fault the location the free parking & Wifi.

Unfortunately the room we stayed in room 25 was disgusting. Someone previously had been sick in the room as the smell was so overpowering we had to move the beds. No politeness from any of the staff at all and very unwelcoming, we not recommend this hotel.

Good location as the caves are on the doorstep. Comfy bed. Friendly team at breakfast.

Parents letting their children run amok around the hotel, surprisingly especially late at night when they should have been asleep!. Night porter would be a good idea. Breakfast quite exspensive which is an extra price on top of the accomodation.

We stayed for a couple of nights. Great place for young families. Our children are 4 yr & 18mth. They had a great time. Staff are very friendly. Hotel was very comfortable & clean. Good choice of food in the restaurant.

Loved breakfast with the Wookey Witch. Our 4 yr old daughter loved her.

Location. Friendly staff. Ideal for using the Wookey Hole complex facilities

The breakfast was served in the site restaurant which was at least 200 metres from the hotel. We were fortunate with the weather but this could have been a damp journey between buildings.

The central location is superb. Also, as a base, it makes visiting other West Country areas extremely easy and convenient, (Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge etc) with the knowledge that one has a comfortable and well equipped hotel to relax in after ones journey. The facilities on site were good to excellent, with very friendly and knowledgeable staff, who were eager to please and seemed very genuine. The rooms were well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The Caves were spectacular, as was the 4D film show, with again excellent staffing.

Personally I found the menu in Captain Jacks limited, although the food was well presented, wholesome and showed very good portion size. I do think one can have a little too much of the 'sideshow' feeling regarding 'amusements', they can, at times veer towards the tired and sometimes tacky in there presentation and value. Does everything need to be so expensive? Even a turn of the century penny arcade needn't be prohibitive in its pricing. I also found the way in which every opportunity was used to encourage spending slightly off-putting, although of course realising that it is a BUSINESS. Overall though, these are minor criticisms, and are purely personal, and would not put me off returning.

The ease of parking and reception.the ability of staff to help and guide to the breakfast which was very satisfactory in every way

The bedroom did not have a Gideon Bible for reading these are supplied free no expense to the hotel. It is my pleasure to see the major hotel chains have them available, and the appreciation is often expressed to the Gideons International P D Humphrey

Kids liked the theme and computers in reception

Beds and sofa bed uncomfortable. Bunk beds would be better. Mini fridge needed for baby milk etc to be stored. Nothing for kids to do of an evening after dinner

The beds are not great. Not terrible, but if you need an orthopedic one, this is not the case.
