Score from 33 reviews Exceptional
Friendly staff, excellent room and facilities, quiet location.
easy to book in after along day at Cheltenham races, easy to pay and leave in the morning
Cleanliness, staff were very helpful, location to Wookey Hole, free and convenient car parking.
The bed was very hard I don't usually mind a hard mattress but this was like sleeping on a plank of wood. To shower or bath in the morning was impossible as the water kept going from freezing cold to boiling hot. Not ideal with young children.
Room Bath All v. clean
Having to pay for breakfast
The size of the room was brilliant. The location is amazing it may be out of the way except for Wookey hole but it was a beautiful location.
no bbc 1 in the bedroom - could not watch programme i wanted
The room was lovely and we had a great stay would use again great price
sensible power outlets unlike travelodge! Comfortable
Slightly overpriced food, would not have minded if food available 24 hours
Breakfast too expensive. Can go down the road 5mins for half the price.
The location was very good, and easy for us to find our way to other places.
We feel that there could be more choice on the menu.
The friendliness of the staff and the comfort and cleanliness of the room. Great base to travel to other areas in Somerset.
We arrived late evening and would have liked some food other than crisps on offer, maybe some sandwiches.
unfriendly staff, had to eat off site ? why when they had a bistro. Asked for a cot found it was broken, got given another one which we had to set up ourselves this one was also broken.
Clean and comfortable bed, Plenty of hot water. Option of putting heating on in the room. Functioning WiFi
Room was bland and without character. Bar was located in room more like a camp site club house than hotel lounge. Corridor was noisy with energetic children running around in the evening and early morning Expensive for single person Did not have food attractive enough to try.
* £45 for a family room was excellent value. * Travel cot in the room when we arrived. * Easy parking and a short walk to Wokey Hole. * All in all I recommend it highly
* Flashing red light above bed and dim but notable light by door. * We asked a local for advice on where to eat. He advised us not to eat in hotel. To be fair, we didn't eat so I can't comment.
What a lovely place to stay, Tucked away in a quiet corner, Perfect, we loved it, Thank you, we will stay again.
excellent staff helpful throughout the staff clean well appointed rooms
Wrong orders from kitchen Kettle full of mould Hairdryer gave wife electric shock Staff indifferent Heating poor Bottle of wine came opened so who knows what was in bottle
Staff were friendly and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom were spotlessly clean.
The shower rail fell on my head! Food was okay but not very hot-typical mass catering.
I loved the atmosphere at the hotel, was clean and staff friendly and decorated great for halloween.
Wi fi was hit and miss.
Quirky layout of VIP Suite + excellent value for money and friendly staff
Restaurant more like a Canteen and not any atmosphere
Staff friendly and helpful. Clean room.
i loved everything
I was extremely disappointed that breakfast was not included! staff seemed friendly and helpful but this put a serious dampner on our one night there as the hotel is only officially a three star so the stay was not particularly good value (or particularly bad either) I feel inclusion of breakfast would have made all the difference, especially as it was stpidly priced at 8.50
