great staff, great room ,great food, great stay
Staff greeting when we arrived
The room was a very good size. Everything was spotless. Couldn't find a fault in anything. Very quiet too and in a good location to travel to surrounding areas.
Wifi connection slow or non existent
Lovely staff very friendly really enjoyed our meal in your restaurant
Pretty much everything, although it is a bit off the beaten track which can't be helped.
The bedroom was unusually very roomy - plenty of good lighting. The shower unit was of top class.
Location to wookey hole
More pillows needed, option to have choice of both continental and cooked breakfast
Very clean & easy to park
Its comfortable and quiet at night. It can be very good value if you get a late deal.
Only one easy chair is provided in rooms for two people. Why? There is plenty of space for two chairs.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
We were just made to feel special
There was nothing we did not like
Very clean and comfortable, a beautiful location, friendly staff.I would certenly recomend it to everyone interested in a peaceful and quiet day off.
Good value, with a large, clean room. Remarkably quiet, despite the presence of many young children.
We wanted twin beds, but had to make do with a family room. My wife found the double bed mattress too hard, and my sofa bed mattress was rather thin. However, we still hope to stay here again.
Stayed there to check out Cheddar gorge, didnt realise this hotel is a leisure destination in itself with all that is there. Still, we went to hedda gorge. Highly recommend
The room was a nice size. Food was great. Affordable. Nice staff. Very clean and simple accommodation.
I requested a double bed so they put two singles together. Very uncomfortable and spoilt the stay.
Good location; comfortable; efficient staff; breakfast range; value for money
Although most of the food in the restaurant was ok, there were a few items that were deficient. My 9 year old son refused the mash because it tasted funny (I think it was made from powder) and did not like the peas (I think that they had been pre-cooked and reheated). But the chilli dog, chicken wings, duck, burgers and chips were all good.
Excellent staff and good room size. Good location of you're visiting Wookey Hole.
Bed a little hard for me. TV too small for me to watch whilst in bed...but my eyesight isn't great...location is a bit 'out of the way' if you're not visiting Wookey Hole.
Clean, comfortable room on ground floor as requested as we are both disabled.Pleasant dining area and bar with large tv to watch. All staff freindly and very helpfull
Staff were really helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy and towels were nice and soft!
Nice room warm good price
Clean and pretty well kept for a well used hotel. Staff were very friendly.
Breakfast was served too late (8:30) to be of use to us. Like most places in UK, you must register your name and give an e-mail address to use wifi but it didn't work anyway.
They were unable to get me a daily paper
