Woolpack InnFishbourne Road West, PO19 3JJ Chichester (Show map) Pleasant, Score from 156 reviews“I have stayed there half a dozen times. The service is very friendly, the food is good and cooked breakfast with homemade sausages and perfectly cooked fine bacon is delicious. It is also exceptionally competitively priced. I will be a returning customer. I also like the friendly touch of bottled water and chocolate in the rooms. ”

The cooked breakfast was good; no fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc but there was cereal. Unfortunately it was reminisce of a 70’s pub with 70’s carpet, benches, and décor. The place is in serious need of modernisation and the accommodation should be top of that list. We knew that things would be bad when we were handed the tv remotes on check-in; we were expecting the light bulbs next.

The person we dealt with was pleasant and helpful and the wine, chocolates, water and flowers in the room were unexpected and a nice touch. The breakfast was good and the sausages were excellent. The room was very shabby and in desperate need of decorating. The bed and pillows were poor quality. I think it would be much better if he forgot the wine, flower etc and spent the money on improving the rooms. The previous night we spent at a Holiday Inn, it cost £4 less and included leisure facilities so the Woolpack has along way to go to compete with this.

The Woolpack is an old English Pub with rooms for let and it met my expectation for value and comfort accordingly. What was most pleasant was the staff, All the staff were very friendly, very helpful and worked to make our stay a pleasure, many thanks!!!! Jm. No complaints. One observation was that the room could use a fresh coat of paint and other minor details to finish in the bathroom. Also a differnet deoderizer for the hall as I remember it had an odd oder but these are small details.

The one chocolate we tossed for and I won A very basic, backpacker style accomodation, uncomfortable beds & pillow, shabby, desperately needs decorating and modernising. Toilet leaking, basic shower with a musty damp smell.

The room was a decent size with enough hanging space and shelves for storage. It was a nice touch the mints, proper glasses, and free bottle water and not forgetting the fresh flowers. Ok for what I needed it for. Curtains and bedding a tadge dated and doesnt go with the colour scheme.Towels rather frayed. We arrived at 8pm and they had stopped serving. Breakfast if you are into a traditional breakfast was good, but if you wanted something slightly healthy it was restricted to just 3 types of cerial, no youguts or fruit.

Convenient situation for a family party. Finding how close the pub was to footpaths to Chichester, A relaxed atmosphere, and a good breakfast I can imagine some people might not find it very cosy It is not a country pub

Breakfast was great for me a meat eater, not much cooked option for vegetarians (wife). Allowed early check in by just after midday which was v helpful. £70 for fairly basic b&b is expensive. Only mirror in room was small one above sink. Could do with long one on wall for getting ready. Room faced car park and street so could use some kind of nets on windows for privacy.

The location, and being able to come and go as I pleased without having to worry about handing in the key each time I went out. I liked the security code for coming and goin in the accomodation part of teh hotel. I would have liked to know in advance about the evening meals, and breakfast times in advance. They changed because of being Christmas time.

The hotel wasin a lovly little country village. It was of excellent quality. The rooms were of good size and comfort level with good ammenities. It is a very nice pub and the restaurant has exceptional food. It was a little disappointing that it was only bed and breakfast wasn't included as every other accommodation we have stayed in on our trip around the uk included breakfast. The accommodation was not cheap but as it didn't included breakfast made it not as good value for money as we thought. The rooms, pub and dinner was great I would recommend this hotel but bring your money with you.. The inclusions.

Have known the Inn for many years under different management. Curious to stay there in new accommodation. No choice for supper and very badly presented, although it tasted ok Not enough light to use the digital lock system to the accpommodation and it was pouring wet!

Lifeless, cold, dirty, damp, but you pay for what you get. On booking I thought the double room cost 100 pounds a night.Which was willing to pay. But on arrival I found out its was the price for both nights and I thought what a great deal. Until I saw the room and later had a drink in the pub.

Convenient to Chichester, ample parking ease of booking Was looking forward to breakfast (which was included in the price) unfortunately, half of the full breakfast couldn't be eaten due to the amount of cooking oil on the plate this was a real let down for myself.

Breakfast was fantastic with homemade sausages which they sell in the pub too. The bathroom needed updating and there was only one chipped mug when we first arrived in room, also the towels need to be replaced in all rather tired when it could be so much better!

It was a very poor quality for Booking.com I have used your site a lot and this was a real let down. They did not do food in the evenings but this was not on their website.

“Me and my partner stayed here for new years eve, we wanted somewhere close to town and not too pricey. This hotel was in a perfect location, very good value for money, our room was immaculate, friendly and helpfull staff, and the premier breakfast option was fantastic! You get to choose anything you want from the menu, and can help yourself to the buffet for a very good price. Ive paid ridiculous amounts of money staying at other hotels that didn't offer what this one did, and its probably the cheapest ive ever paid for a hotel!! Welldone premier inn! Will be staying with you again in the future. ” Claire, West Sussex |

“We had a good welcome and so did our dog. Dogs bowls and towels available. The room overlooked Marine Gardens and the Sea. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. Dinner was inexpensive..as advertised..home cooked food and very tasty. The full English breakfast was excellent. We couldn't fault the hotel at all and thought it great value for money.” Gillian, Reservations |
