“The staff were helpful and friendly The rooms were clean and spacious Breakfast was excellent and the buffet style full english breakfast was continually replenished. We has the "Thai Buffett" on Saturday night and the food was authentic and delicious and of a high standard cooked by the owner's wife”

Location for Chichester. Modern bed rooms in new building adjacent to the Woolpack Inn are Clean , basic and suited. Breakfast, I had full English nice with proper pork sausages. Not a great chose on breakfast buffet side but adequate. The poor old dog does leave an unpleasant smell in the reception area and bar.

It was good value. The carpet in our room was soaking wet on arrival but we were moved swiftly to a room next door. Room was very basic; small bed and a few other minor niggles.

Good breakfast Plenty hot water Room warm + bathroom dry (heated towel rail) Good sized room and bathroom Seperate building from pub advantage = very quiet Good supply of tea and coffee etc daily basics, shower gel etc Owners frendly when got to know as mainly catering for passing businesmen and builders (one nighters) they are more reserved Asked for additional chair (only one) plus a few small items they were very willing to oblige Felt safe and secure digital lock on front door Easy parking and to access main roads As I am an X local I knew positiion etc was good Said had wifi but none had to go into the pub - rooms in seperate building so not convenient or easy access - This was a BIG disappointment for the evenings Beds matresses covered by plastic very noisey when moved, but quite comfortable Towels clean but not changed daily with holes and bleach marks Shower curtain thready at bottom No fridge in room a disadvantage would suggest upgrade as room large enough to accomodate

Good price, great location if you have a car - 2 mins off main dual carriageway. Friendly staff. Room clean and tidy, though basic for some tastes. I'd be happy staying there again myself but wouldn't necessarily recommend it to everyone. Main custom seems to be people contracting in the area who need somewhere inexpensive to stay for the week. More a lodge than a hotel - accommodation is not in the main building so don't worry about noise from the pub (not that there was any when I was there.) One of the towels, whilst clean laundered, was badly ripped. Buffet breakfast had a very basic range of items (though they are happy for you to take as much as you want) and I suspect too salty/greasy for some tastes. Many people would take exception to the family dog being allowed in the breakfast area.

the staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was lovely, the room was clean and comfortable with everything you need. the food was very good and the evening meal (paid for separately) was lovely. also the other people in the public house were very friendly and helpful too. good proper shower. could do with a shower glass / partition rather than curtain but excellent shower otherwise

An immediate appreciation of the atmosphere. Cleanleness, set up and the inclusion of a Bar Billiards table! No blaring music from a nickle odean. Without exception all the staff were prepared to assisit in a helpful and meaningful manner. The food has to be the best value in the city of Chichester and often accompanies special 'Pub' nights at very reasonable prices. Very difficult - I'll think about it.

The hotel and staff were friendly and knowlegable about the area. The room was clean and basic. The breakfast was plentiful. The tea, coffee and milk were not replenished daily. There was the most horrendous stench from the bathroom. Most likely caused by the fact that the sink, shower and toilet all share the same waste pipe. Not a pleasant experience and only managed to keep it at bay by keeping the light and fan on in the bathroom constantly. They need to sort this out soon! They must be aware of this because the cleaner came in emptied the bins and sprayed air freshener.

Lifeless, cold, dirty, damp, but you pay for what you get. On booking I thought the double room cost 100 pounds a night.Which was willing to pay. But on arrival I found out its was the price for both nights and I thought what a great deal. Until I saw the room and later had a drink in the pub.

Convenient to Chichester, ample parking ease of booking Was looking forward to breakfast (which was included in the price) unfortunately, half of the full breakfast couldn't be eaten due to the amount of cooking oil on the plate this was a real let down for myself.
