Lovely location, and peaceful. The building is very old, and that adds to the charm of the place, but cobwebs round the windows inside, and toilet bowel not cleaned properly detracted from its charm!

We were a little disappointed with our meals. My husbands steak was a bit dry and chewy and I had chicken wellington, the pastry was slighty underdone..... But it wouldn't put us off eating there again.

Traditional, calm, well run country pub and restaurant with good food, friendly staff, comfortable room. It was a Christmas get-away for us, and perfect as such. Plus Chilham Square really is chocolate-box pretty!

We stayed at the Woolpack to be near our family. We were able to entertain our grandchildren and give them a good family supper. The staff understood our needs and gave us the perfecty service that we required.

The shower had a very powerful jet to it. The hotel was oldey worldey and the bar had a great log fire. We also loved the food during our stay. The staff were very helpful in many ways during our stay.. The price was very good for what we got. It was very good in terms of value for money... The clock out time was a little early and the clock in time was to late.

As a family of 5, it is hard to get one room, but Woolpack has that option and it was a very comfortable amount of space. The food and service were excellent. The village of Chilham is adorable and very centrally located for visiting Kent.

“Lovely Hotel in pretty grounds only a short drive into Canterbury. Staff were very attentive and our room was very spacious with a lovely four poster bed in keeping with our arrival straight from Hever Castle and the days of Henry VIII. The dining room bar and lounge were very well appointed.” Paul, Harpenden |
