The location was fantastic, just close enough to the hustle and bustle but far enough away on a fairly quiet road.

Nothing to dislike at all

A spotlessly clean family run B&B, with lovely owners and staff, right in the centre of Ambleside. I can't wait to visit again. Extreemly comfy beds and an amazing choice for breakfast. (Try the bacon, it is the best I've tasted in many years!) I've stayed in Ambleside before on many occasions, but this was my first time at Wordsworth's. I'm glad I found it!

We liked everything about this guesthouse. Anna and Paul were so friendly and made us so welcome.Our bedroom was the twinroom which was quite luxurious and the ensuite was spotless Breakfasts were plentiful and the cooked breakfast was great

Location for shopping or eating in Ambleside was excellent. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The Wordsworh Guest House was a great place to stay. It is ideally located with Ambleside village a short walk away. The staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast and room were fantastic.

Underfloor heating in the shower room. The breakfasts. friendly hosts.

The sink was not in the shower room, but in the bedroom.

Sink separate from the bathroom was a little inconvenient but that's about it.

Excellent service and very friendly, ideally placed for central Ambleside and a good base for exploring the lakes. Rooms comfortable and clean. Food well cooked and sufficient for us.

Helpful and friendly proprietors; great breakfasts; lovely shower; wifi; proximity of 3 bijou cinemas; restaurants varied and enjoyable; good competitive outdoor gear shopping on doorstep.

Took ages for hot water to reach washbasin!
