Got a good deal on the room as it was low season and I guess not a good time of year for golfing. Although clean and comfortable, the room looked about ready for a re-fit and modernisation. Free Wi-Fi was easy to access and good speed. Overall though good value & served a purpose. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The hotel spec. Talked about digital & satellite tv, flat screen TVs etc. In reality my room had an old crt tv which received about 4 channels in total!

Great value for money. The room was spacious and clean and had everything I needed for a one night stay. The hotel is somewhat secluded but the restaurant food was very good and staff were very friendly and helpful. From the description it seemed as though the hotel had a proper spa but when I got there it was more of a pool/sauna and gym. Spa treatments had to be booked in advance, which doesn't suit anyone who has made a last minute arrangement to stay.

It was very comfortable, friendly staff, welcoming, price was excellent, breakfast was very good value for money and excellent food. It was quiet, warm cozy and best of all value for money and will be going back asap

This is a really nice hotel with friendly staff and superb facilities. I met up with family and friends and we had a great meal, drinks and rooms. Nothing really. Only minor thing was that the shower leaked like a sieve, a little maintenance required thats all !

Room was freezing on arrival. room was dirty Magnetic key did not work. bar was closed to a private function Alternative bar was not open at 5.00pm as billed when we returned to the hotel after our business function and sat with a bottle of champagne the bar staff (who were dealing with a drunken function mob) threw open all the windows immediately at the side of our table and were, quite frankly, obnoxious when we politely asked them to close them as it was too cold to sit there. i then had to find the duty manager who suggested that we should move! You can keep De Vere, we shall not use them again!

It was so peaceful..set in the golf course meant that there was no traffic noise and so I had an amazing nights sleep. The jacuzzi although full of water didnt work as a jacuzzi, which was disappointing.

It was a well-priced (at half-price!) option for us for a wedding nearby. The room was a good size though there were obviously certain breakages in there that hadn't been fixed (I.E. the handle in the shower) which just gave it a slighly unloved feel!

- Competitive price. - Reasonably close to Nantwich where were having a party on Saturday. - Large bed. - Sauna and steam room available. - Though a fairly modern hotel, the decor looked tired in places needing some tlc to bring the hotel up to standard. For example, wallpaper was peeling in places and there was an immovable stain on the sink top. - The bed for two, through large, comprised two mattresses. One was life expired whose springs had gone. - Soundproofing poor. - Noisy residents talking loudly until the early hours.

Good food excellent staff. I was a bit dissapointed with the state of the bed, the bed box covering had appeared to have been damaged at one time so the covering had been cut off leaving the hardboard exposed.
