Veldig koselig personale, kjempe god mat i restauranten. koselig og intimt hotell, alt du trenger, bra roomservice. Rent og pent.

Ingen ting å utsette på noe i forhold til forventningene!

Extremely nice! Quiet, clean and comfortable. Good size room. Great (HD) TV. Good mix of old world charm and modern convenience.

Don't order a cooked breakfast if you're in a hurry - mine took 15 minutes to arrive. (But it was very good - almost worth the wait!).

Small, friendly, same staff always, very responsive to requests.

Duvets are too thick and heavy. Alternative, cooler bedding (eg blankets) in the room would be a good idea. Wi-fi signal is very weak.

Too much traffic & congestion. Densely populated. Very little greenery.

Overall the Wycliffe hotel is an exellent hotel just 2 things nothing major the hot water tap took ages to get hot and the bar prices in my opinion are to expensive

The tree in the car park - I could not see it in the rear view mirror and crunched on the border around it- not the first as there was mirror glass there from a previous car. Perhaps it could be marked better. I sat it the car after hitting the border and looked for it and could not see it so it is in a blind spot for drivers

Hotel has got a very high rating. However I think this takes into account the value for money price so it is a bit more basic than perhaps one would have expected .

the room was verycosy and clean .the shower/bathroom was clean with fluffy towels. the staff were helpful and friendly. the food was excellent!!!

Very helpful staff. Excellent restaurant. The facilities were fine for the money and some very good, like free wifi.

On weekends they don't put out the breakfast cereals juices and toast etc and you always get less breakfast on a sunday

To give credit where credit is due, the meal I had in the restaurant was excellent, although at top end pricing for the area (£3.60 for pint of lager, £16.95 for 3 course resident’s table d’hote menu, £16 to £24 for main course on a la carte menu).

A) Wi-fi access was unacceptably poor but free (2 of 3 access points not working; painfully slow web browsing, vpn connection established ok but almost zero bandwidth in the vpn tunnel) so not a particularly good choice for business travellers hoping to work of an evening, although plenty of desk space in the room. B) Very slow check-in due to mix up of booking paperwork - I was asked to sign another guests check-in form initially which was clearly labeled for Mrs xxxxx - and I'm very obviously not female ! C) Breakfast service was very slow (order taken about 8 minutes after arrival in restaurant, the cooked breakfasts looked good but I didn’t have time to wait for the additional 15 minutes or so it would have taken to appear). D) Central heating appears to be on a timer – the room was distinctly chilly when I arrived at 4pm, but the radiator didn’t produce any heat until about 5pm. Restaurant only just warm enough at 7pm. The hotel seems to be into energy conservation in a big way, which is fine until it impacts on the guests.

A really good value hotel. The people are friendly and helpful, the rooms are simply but comfortably furnished and everything works as it should. The restaurant is likewise very good value and serves an excellent breakfast.
