Wyndham Hotel - B&B30 Wyndham Street, Marylebone, W1H 1ED London (Show map) Good, Score from 256 reviews“I loved the small B&B more then a larger hotel because I felt more like a Londoner than a tourist. The location was a 2min walk to the tube. The staff was amazing & attentive. It was absolutely perfect for me.”
Jennifer,
Arlington

Very helpful staff. Assisted me with transport options & gave great directions. Also helped with getting luggage upstairs. Great location for what I needed. Great value for money. Was a great place to stay once I found it, as I misread the map! Good choice of breakfast. Small room in general but good for solo traveller like me. No toilet in the room but close by. Double doors to enter the room. I had to keep both doors open to get luggage out.

Very convenient location, rooms are small but clean with a nice shower, plenty of towels, bath robe and tea, coffee and fruits. The beds could have done with new mattresses.

This was the cheapest hotel I could find so I did wonder how it might compare. Its nice! Very comfortable. In the room I found a modern flat screen TV with freeview, a kettle and plenty of hot drink and milks, including decaf. There is also a basin and clean shower cubicle. The furniture was modern and the linen spotless. As it had been a cold night the radiators had been turned on. The windows could be opened and the curtains thick and cord operated. There was a small fridge where I kept my sandwich stuff fresh, and this included a minibar of soft drinks and snacks if required. The room contained phone and clock radio alarm. There were plentry of clean towells and bathrobes, and well as shampoo/conditioner in one, shower gell and soap. The WC was a short walk away and was clean and modern. Access to a seating area in the rear garden was allowed. There was a free to use computer for internet access etc, plus the rooms had wifi or a web connection. The breakfast was all I could want. Plus complimentary apples in the room!

I received a warm and friendly welcome from the staff. I was offered the choice of a continental or cooked breakfast and both were excellent. I also liked the fact that the shower was en suite. The shared toilet (shared between 3 rooms) was just across the landing. The bedlinen was clean and pleasant - no huge florals, just simple. The room furnishings were minimalist, unfussy and pleasant. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to other travellers spending time in London as it was also convenient for the centre and public transport.

The location was perfect. Central and close to everything. The room was tiny but cosy and clean. The bed was comfortable. And there was free WiFi. There were no toilets in the rooms though I hadn`t known about that before I arrived cause it wasn`t marked as "shared facilities" (though it might have been said in the detailed description). I asked for English breakfast upon check-in and got it the first day. But next day they told me they didn`t have it for me cause "woman from the reception didn`t leave the note on the fridge that you asked for English breakfast". So I basically was left without any breakfast and no one even said sorry.

It's a really good quiet location, in central London, and also in a really nice old Georgian House. Staff where pleasant, and the room and bedding was clean. I stayed in this hotel just before Christmas, as was in London on business, and the price was attractive. Rooms are clean, however, i was put off by spotting a 'crystalkill' box in the corner of the bedroom, i was also not impressed that the Breakfast starts at 8, which is a little too late when you need to be out and off to work.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast, good location (1 min from Marylebone station), immaculately clean - so overall good value for money There is a shower & sink in the room but no toilet, which wouldn't suit everyone. The shower is also a cubicle in the room, not well screened, so ok for singles or couples but maybe not if you were sharing with a friend

The staff was very kind and I was able to check in early. I could control the heat in my room and there was a nice tv. I was on the second floor and I the floor above me was so creaky it woke me up anytime someone would walk around, during the night and early morning.

Staff were extrememely freindly accommodating. Willingly enabled me to go down for breakfast before the sceduled start time so I could catch my train. Room, although very small, met my needs so couldn't fault that. Wi-fi worked and was very fast every time I wanted it. No toilet in the room is the only unattractive thing about the Wyndham and having to go down two floors during the night not exactly ideal but I knew that before I went and it is recognised in the very competitive price for a hotel in Central London

Staff were pleasant. Bed mattress & pillow was comfortable No toilet in room. Common one. No bathroom in room - since the shower was a portable shower The portable shower was very small as was the space around it Rooms very small The floors are very creaky - you can hear absolutely every step in the night if someone is walking upstairs. Did not get a wink of sleep. The windows are not double glazed (cold / noisy)

Quiet location, friendly staff. Tiny room, no bedside table, lights. We had not been told that there was no toilet in the room and that we would need to go out of the room for one.

I stay at a lot of low-priced London hotels for my business. This is definitely a cut above the rest in terms of comfort, friendliness of staff and cleanliness. There's no lift, so if you struggle with stairs it's not for you. But apart from that, great.

It was lovely to be greeted by such a friendly lady. The two ladies I met on my one night business stay were extremely helpful and made the checking in and checking out process really simple. My room was comfortable and absolutely suitable for my needs as a business traveller. The Hotel's location was really good too and was easy to find and an absolute dream for access to the tube. I would recommend this hotel and would also use it next time. My feedback below would not put me off in the slightest. When you get an extremely reasonable price for a stay in a friendly, clean and convenient location in central London how can one find fault. So the following wasn't a problem but just came as a little surprise. There was no toilet in the room and I either had to go up to the next floor up or down to use the communal loo. As a middle aged woman who uses such a facility in the night this was just a tiny bit inconvenient, though a fleecy dressing gown was supplied so this made it easier (I don't normally have one in my case when I travel around). The shower was not very good :-( even for the price I paid - it was a power shower but the flow was so slow I could hardly even wet my feet and could only wash one shoulder at a time. This is really the only thing that I didn't like because I have long hair and couldn't wash it because the flow of water wouldn't have been enought to rinse it. But I can say that I would definitely stay here again for location, friendliness, cleanliness and price.

The staff was really nice and the room offered the basic needs. The room was not isolated properly the noises from outside where very loud in the room. I think the room was to expensive for what I got in return but saying that: all the room in London are expensive.

Staff very reliable. Room fairly big and clean. The only downside was that the toilet was to be shared...However, the hotel was good value for money, mainly compared to other hotels with similar rates...

The staff is very friendly, helpful and so positive with their smile. It is like a house that you stay for couple of days. Very secure and full of light. The bed was not comfortable at all. Every time I moved, there was a disturbing noise that made me wake up each time. So I had a very uncomfortable sleep.
