Available at short notice
Felt more like a b&b than a hotel. Two different taxi drivers warned about the local area being rough and to take care
Short distance from city centre, great value for money, good size room and good facilities
Shower was warm
Parking wasn't available so had to leave early Toilet roll was missing
My second stay at Wynford, it's central location and good prices makes it worth coming back to the hotel, it is good value for the money!
Slightly outdated interior bit nothing in particular to complain about
This Hotel is well placed to walk to the City Centre. Comfortable , clean room. Excellent value for money, full breakfast which only cost £5 - eat as much as you like. Great staff - particularly Dave, the night receptionist and barman.
great staff good food great location a few mins walk to the city centre
car Park could be bigger nightclub was noticeable after2 am
The Shower and the Location!!!
Staff were excellent
Very noisy from 3-30am no chance to sleep
The male receptionist was very rude and spoke down to me on check in, it put me and My friends in a bad mood as we was there to celebrate a birthday would never book again..
The staff were very friendly and helpful. We chose this hotel as we were able to sleep 3 in 1 room and on arrival were impressed with the size and style of the room.
Limited parking, meaning we had to park on the street. But this is stated on the hotel information so not really a negative .
Loved the welcome we had at reception and later in the bar
Nothing really a little roudy but we knew that before we arrived
Staff weren't particularly welcoming when we arrived. The bed was as hard as rocks and the bathroom well don't get me started! There was mold in the shower and the toilet seat was scratched and really old basically the whole toilet needed a complete revamp was not overally impressed thank god it was only 1 night!
Friendly staff behind reception, helpful and polite let us have keys before official check in as room was ready. Same woman behind bar later when we had a drink before going out, fair play, long shift on match day...still professional and polite! Room clean and tidy and in line with price paid. Decent breakfast for £5 in the morning. Left a coat behind in wardrobe, it was returned no problems later. This hotel has everything it says on the Tin. Cheers guys!
Car park is only big enough for 1 car, and local streets are all permit parking only. wifi signal very very intermittent
Friendly staff and breakfast was excellent
Room was a little dated and bathroom needed updating
The food was very good, and the staff pleasant and friendly
The noise coming from the kitchen at night which was below my window was loud as if there was a party going on with laughter and a dog barking
Shower was 5stars,room was comfortable
We went to bed,and we can hear the music from the club everywhere was like being trying to sleep inside the club itself conclusion i will never stay in that hotel anymore because i couldn't sleep all night
Good location, friendly and helpful staff. Optional breakfast, pool table. Being able to leave key at reception when you went out.
Curtains didn't fit the window properly. Only got occasional connection to the wifi, as our room was on the furthest side of the building.
the staff were eager to please and resolve any issues. location to high street is excellent. very short walk. a few faults in the room but nothing that wasn't attempted at being resolved/fixed. i.e. shower door was loose.
the noise level during the night/early morning was very loud. more down to the consideration of other guests then the hotel itself but a few soft closers on doors and a few screws into floorboards would definately help!
Clean, friendly staff, lovely breky, near centre, pub
Bit pricey for what you get
Closeness to city centre.
Smelly Dirty, old food on the side of bed. Immature, giggly, rude staff to greet you in the morning. Old and run down Doors don't lock without a key. Bathroom door wouldn't close. Nightclub is a grubby pub, where you are expected to eat your breakfast off a sticky table in the morning. Carpets hadn't seen a Hoover for some time.
Location. Staff. Bar open until 5.00am. Plenty of coffee sachets in the room. Being upgraded to a triple room well away from the nightclub.
Would have liked it to have cost even less.
the room was ok
the nite club underneath it was as if the nite club was in our room
Above the club
Staff tried to be as helpful as they could central location
Traffic noise, drunken yobs, nightclub noise, Tv broken but was eventually replaced, broken loo seat, dirty shower cubicle, wash basin plug broken. Room shabby with cheap furnishing, lamp broken, dirty sheets will never set foot in the place again!!!
