Score from 711 reviews Very good
VG sound proofing, very comfortable bed, relaxing style & décor, plus hotel environment meant a really good nights sleep [this despite being right on very busy Cromwell Road]. Quality robes, towels, teas & toiletries in room. Staff very welcoming and happy to chat as well as answer questions. Good service in the bar. Interesting furnishings and atmosphere in reception, bar & lounge.
Room quite small. Shower had low power
Staff were very helpful Sprinkler bidet Tea making facility Complimentary apples at reception
Room 511 was tiny Cupboard space Water pressure in toilet
Good location, friendly staff and very clean
Room was rather small
good location for my purpose. I had a room at the back of the building which was nice and quiet. I was impressed to find that there was air conditioning in the room. good choice of TV channels.
Too little space on the bedside table where the only spare electric socket was. I didn't find any instructions to the radio-alarm (?) beside the bed. I couldn't make the washbasin plug work.
Every thinh They exced my expectation
The hotel is very glamorous, great facilities staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was great. Wifi worked great in the rooms and was free. Had everything you needed.
I did find that for 2 people with luggage the room was quite small. Not much room to move but otherwise it was fine.
staff location convenience
Very well located and parking next door in Sainsbury's is idea.
On check-in, they upgraded my room however it was located down in the basement which had a strong sewage smell when walking to the lift. I could also not sleep as the room backed a wall with all the plumbing behind. Noisy pipework though out the night isn't good.
Staff Location Cleanliness Cocktail bar
Professional and clean
The staff is always present, friendly, and attentive. There is a nice bar, and the man tending very professional. If there had been good weather, there would have been a nice outside garden area to sit in. The hotel is solid, quiet and clean. The details are done well, like good cookies for ech evening delivered with a room turn-down.What is especially nice is that the beds are very solid, and as well the shower is clean and with two different shower heads.
The classic double room is small, of course this is London, but still. There is the usual hotel problem of the electric outlets for any bathroom device (like hairdryer) being somewhere else in the room than in the bathroom. There is an electric hot water pot and some coffees, but no mini-fridge/bar, no water bottles. Breakfast is far too expensive for what it is.
Not much apart from the fact I could make a cup of tea in the room. And that I could park the car in Sainsburys next door for a reasonable inner city London fee.
Wishy washy reception on arrival - poor response to complaint about cleanliness of the room and poor level of bed linen making. No room to swing a cat in room or the bathroom. Water temp not hot enough - AC not effective during the day . No follow up to initial complaint . Dreary reception staff and dreary pokey surroundings - not impressed at all. Worst hotel I have stayed in for a long time. Stayed in premier inn the nights before and was more impressed with their rooms , service and customer care than Xenia . Will not stay there and waste my money again or recommend to friends who I live with in Dubai . Very disappointed!
Modern with spacious reception rooms and some nice individual edges. Lovely looking restaurant. Impressive continental breakfast. Not too far from much-connected Gloucester Road tube station, within Zone 1.
Not a single beer of any interest. If you are going to do eggs Benedict for breakfast, know what they should look like.
Reception staff Price Quiet Large bottle water complimentary
Very small rooms and bathrooms Wouldn't give me a cafetiere in a standard room Bed hard
Friendly and welcoming staff. Eager to help with directions and advice. I was travelling with teenage granddaughter so categories supplied don't quite fit
Food a bit pricey! However plenty of places near to hotel
Good location, close to Knightsbridge and Sainsbury is right opposite. Comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms and a nice friendly staff. The restaurant Evoluzione is amazing, definitely one of the best in the city
Rooms were a tad small
Perfect location, great staff, absolutely enjoyed our stay there.
Late night room service is not very good.
Lovely hotel. Staff are friendly and efficient. Our room was perfect and pristine - the balcony, a surprise bonus. Wifi and use of tablet in the room - excellent.
Beds and pillows a bit hard but comfortable enough.
The staff were so helpful, kind and beautifully mannered....The mattress was so comfortable,
FOR THE PRICE EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT.
Very friendly staff!!! I love the homely feeling of the hotel! Will definitely stay here again.
Location, Friendly staff, excellent service, boutique style hotel, Facilities
Very small rooms, expensive restaurant
A beautiful place nicely located between Earl's Court and Gloucter Tubes.
Small rooms but is the norm for small places I guess.
The hotel is really lovely.
A double room is more suited for a single person. The bed and room itself is small.
Everything was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Zsolt (bartender).
Hotel staff Location Decor Occitane toiletries Large shower
