A comfortable and peaceful place with a great breakfast. Mini fridge in the room was a great touch.
Everything - restful, relaxing, attractive and a good wholesome breakfast served by a very pleasant host.
Everything, quiet, comfortable, excellent breakfast, lovely host Joyce
All the facilities are quite nice and the room is big. The breakfast is awesome. The householder is a very kind and thoughtful person. Highly recommended!
The price is a bit expensive excluding service quality.
-Room had a view of a beautiful mountain peak nearby. Beautiful countryside Inn in a small village -Bang in the centre of Newport and Fishguard -Beautifully furnished -The best breakfast of all the Inns we stayed at. The sausage was the best I have ever had -The hostess was lovely. She was helpful and so kind. She let us eat out takeaway food in the dining area and then cleaned up afterwards (don't worry, we offered to wash up, but she would have none of it :) ). She was very approachable. -Another external Bathroom! But this one was lovely. Great shower with supplied shampoo, conditioner and body wash. A rarity. -Loved the black/red theme decorations in the bathroom. Stylish!
-Was the most expensive Inn we stayed at, but I was did earn the 'Luxury' in the label, so I would say it was worth it. -A curious point: multiple encounters with insects. The post at the outer gate was infested with ants. There were 3 moths in the room throughout the night and one in the bathroom and a spider in the room and bathroom. My partner is arachnophobia, so this was a problem. -All the dining places nearby close by 9pm, so be warned. We desperately wanted to eat lobster on our trip yet the only place nearby was fully booked.
Lovely and clean Extra touches in room Great shower Nice and quiet Lovely breakfasts
Lovingly furnished house and room; quiet residential area, easy parking; good breakfast menu with local products; very nice, helpful hostess; separate bathroom for single use large and modern, bathrobes; refrigerator with complimentary milk and water; charming pub 'Ship Aground' nearby (some 12 minutes walk)
The bathroom could have been cleaner (cobwebs etc.); mattress for our taste much too soft; 'Monsoon Shower' suitable only for persons up to 175 cm (5 foot 9 inch)
Comfortable bed in a quiet location away from busy traffic. The bathroom was very modern and pleasant.
Not being given the ensuite room when that was what we had booked. Instead we were put into a small room with a separate private bathroom. Also the full English breakfast was very oily and greasy.
Nice room with ensuite (beware: there is a room without ensuite). Very good breakfast. Parking next to the B&B not a problem
Joyce is a great host. I have no complaints about anything. What a location!
Comfortable bed and lovely room. Wonderful breakfasts. Joyce was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome.
There was nothing not to like
The owner booked us a table at the nearby fish restaurant, The Old Sailor. An unforgettable experience.
Y Garth has everything you would wish for, our weekend was perfect in every way. Joyce was the hostess with the mostest!!!!
Friendly welcome, comfortable and good location
Attention to details: freshly ground coffee in the room, fresh milk in the fridge, gluten free bread as requested. Excellent cooked breakfast and very friendly owner
Great Welcome, very comfortable room. Loved the little extra's like a cream tea on arrival and chocolate cup cakes in the room. Fridge to have fresh milk for tea/coffee and a great power shower. Breakfast was fabulous. Great choice from full breakfast (with real bacon!) to lighter options. Lovely buffet of fresh fruit, yoghurts, muesli etc. Joyce is a lovely host and helped us with tips about walks etc. Great relaxing time
Nothing about the B&B. Dinas Cross would be great if it had a restaurant. Although the Ship Aground was a delightful pub - if a little in the 50's and that made it 'charming'.
The bed is heaven after a long day hiking and walking about!
It was all good.
The attention to detail and cleanliness could not be faulted. We had eggs benedict for breakfast that was delicious.
The house was a little bit hard to find but fortunately I used Google Street View in advance so I knew where to go.
