Excellent accommodation and beautifully presented meals. The staff we impeccable. Our experience was for one night away to enjoy and we did.
Not much to dislike, just getting to used over head occupants. But all is temporary. Did run out of hot water as I decided to have a relax in the bath. Guessed all was on a timer so not a problem.
Peace and quiet
Location, peacefulness, attention to detail. Friendliness of owner made us feel so welcome. Room is the best I've stayed in for a very long time. Hospitality in the room was extensive and generous. Breakfast was a delight, top grade food, great service. Fantastic experience, have every intention to visit again.
I cannot find anything to fault.
Yalbury Cottage is in an idyllic setting, the food was exceptional and this was matched by the friendly welcome and the excellent service. We will return.
Brilliant food Friendly staff
amazing food, fantastic staff. exeptional
bit more light in the bathroom please
Beautiful location, lovely staff. Fantastic food! A real pleasure to stay there.
It was a lovely location. The Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was perfect. The Food delicious. What more could you want ?
Great to be able to take our dog; comfortable, well-presented room; delicious breakfast; efficient and friendly staff; beautiful gardens, with tables and chairs outside too.
A little short of car-parking spaces, but possibly because of a (very quiet) party in the restaurant
Everything, especially the food.
Great food/presentation - very good wine list
Accommodation a bit overpriced
The food was exceptional, and the service very very personal and friendly. To be in Hardy land at such a good price was unbelievable!
The food is excellent The country setting is delightful The building is full of charm
Nothing in particular
Breakfast was excellent
The room was spotless. Breakfast was great. Jamie's service was excellent! They even served Dorset cereal - my favorite!
This property is very busy so book ahead.
This B&B was without doubt the very best I have come across. The restaurant and the attention from the charming owner were particular highlights.
That it would be a couple of years at least until I can visit again!
A very quite and tranquil location, well situated for easy access to Weymouth and the Ferry. The Staff were friendly and efficient. The property has a quaint and cottage like feel and is well presented and attractive. The restaurant produced excellent food, locally sourced, finely flavoured and subtle combinations . One of the best steaks I can remember. I would certainly like to make a return visit.
The sitting room was small and not a very social place for a large party. (waiter service only)
Everything was really pretty good. A quite upmarket B&B actually.
Nothing particularly except the absurdly dim bedside reading lights.
Right from the moment we arrived the welcome was wonderful. The building and location are second to none. The lounge and the dining room are really gorgeous and the food is of the standard you would expect in a Michelin starred restaurant.
Our bed let it down as it was not a king sized bed. Also because of the storage heaters the room was very hot.however when I mentioned this to Ariane she provided a fan which solved that problem
The personal individual service Nothing was too much trouble
We liked the peace , the quiet efficiency of the staff at all times to make our stay so enjoyable. Lovely little touches. The loan of local maps to potter locally We shall return
Error in bill noticed by us Slight noise from children above us in the morning, not really a problem
Arianne was very welcoming. The cottage was a real gem, such a beautiful property and the food was outstanding. I would definitely recommend.
friendly atmosphere excellent and pleasant staff good food comfortable and cosy well thought out sunny patio
This inn has great character. The dinner was excellent and the food was exquisite. and served in a lovely ambience.
We liked everything, the food is wonderful, dinner and breakfast. Just a wonderful relaxing place to be.
