Location is not bad - rural. You can get there without car. Bedding seemed clean. There was kettle and toaster in the room. Nice view from the windows

Really cosy, home from home. Much nicer than an impersonal hotel room.
A lovely picturesque small market town. Xmas lights particularly impressive. Good choice of pubs, cafes, restaurants. Lots of independent traders and retailers with welcoming, friendly and helpful staff. 30 minute bus ride to York or Beverley so no need to use own transport.

Very good meals.
Very good meals. Breakfast offered many choices, including full English breakfast. Very comfortable bed and spacious room. Near the town centre and all the facilities. Bus stop nearby. Bicycle storage available in locked place. Staff very helpful and friendly. Television in room. Kettle and drink refreshments provided in room. A lovely stay and plenty of places to visit in the area.
Public living in the area could be very noisy at night in the early hours which can disturb light sleepers! Perhaps late night revelling happens? But anti social people not staying at the hotel are not the responsibility of the staff.

Everything was great from before we arrived.
Everything was great from before we arrived. They called to see what time we would arrive - we were 5 minutes away, but the call was appreciated. Very helpful once we got there, helped us to extend our stay so we didn't have to leave so early, pointed us in the direction of shops and onsite facilities. Where was stayed was lovely, it had everything we needed and was very clean - except for the big spider that kept trying to join us each night. The hot tub was clean and we could sit there and watch the little ducks and have breakfast with them. Was a nice stay

Situated in tranquil surroundings with wonderful views, the lodge we stayed in was absolutely beautiful and clean. We had breakfast and an evening meal in the Glasshouse Restaurant on both days we were there and both meals were faultless, beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Staff were pleasant and happy to help with any information we needed. When we left I didn’t realise I had left a bottle of expensive perfume and aftershave in the cupboard and I was contacted by staff and arrangements were made for this to be posted out. This showed me how honest and trustworthy the staff are who work for the company.
We went to Pocklington for a gig at the Arts Centre. Perfect location, just 5 mins stroll away from the cottage plus several pubs to have a meal before and drinks after the show. Several individual shops in town to look round and several historic/nature walks.
Assembly Cottage is lovely, very clean, had everything required in the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms (shampoo, conditioner and bodywash was a nice touch), comfortable lounge with information on things to do and see in the area.
Lovely cosy cottage very close to the centre of the Pocklington village.Comfortable and equipped with everything you could need. Two ensuite double bedrooms which was perfect for our group of two couples. Outside space looked lovely but weather was too cold to take advantage of it. Easy to get into York centre with a great park & ride service about 20 minutes drive away
Location ideal for Pocklington area and easy fast access to York by bus .Breakfast was lovely continental but varied each day. Home made preserves . It is a lovely home so clean and welcoming and Barbara has alot of local knowledge which she shares with you and also lots of good chats .I liked everything about this stay. Easy off road parking
The property was lovely, very clean & modern inside. Location perfect to drive into York or Pocklington. Our heating went off on the first morning and maintenance were at the property less than 15 minutes after reporting, couldn’t ask for a better service and they were very happy to help. We can’t wait to stay again.
Great little motel very close to our friends caravan on the site next door. Very comfortable bed. Lovely room had all we needed . Breakfast was Very Tasty. And all staff very friendly.
We walked into town which is a mile and a half away. There is a bus stop very close by or you can get a taxi But we enjoy walking
Continental breakfast excellent with various cereals, yoghurt, berries, other fruit, juice, tea, toast, jams. Pocklington lovely town, rural aspect, historical building, good food. We also opted to take the bus to take in the wonderful Roman and Viking history of York, together with bustling markets and eateries.
Kay provided us with a wonderful breakfast, and arranged lots of vegan alternatives for me. The B&B was a short walk from Pocklington, and from there we were able to catch the bus into York and be in the centre of town within 45 minutes. We would absolutely come back and stay again, we had a lovely time
There is insufficient parking close to rooms and you are expected to unload then park the car and walk back. Lots of noise from adjoining rooms. Poor lighting and only 1 chair. Plus side very clean and comfortable bed. There is a Costa coffee bar onsite if you don't want to pay for full breakfast.
Easy parking. Lovely breakfast. Was only overnight but we arrived later than expected so the lady from the hotel called us to say not to hurry, she knew weather was bad so she’d open our room and put the heating on for us. How lovely was that after a horrible journey to get there.
They had ample storage for bikes (it's on the Way of the Roses, a popular cycling route). Breakfast was buffet style, not a common choice in the UK, but very practical when you're serving large groups that all want to set off at the same time. Food choice at breakfast was good.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was great, easy to find and parking right outside our room. The breakfast was served quickly and was delicious. Great value for money and an ideal stop over. Very similar to the Campanille chain in France.
This lodge was fantastic for what we paid, onsite jjs bar was lovely brilliant staff service and food lovely. Nice peaceful area perfect for getting away with family to chill out. Definitely we return at a later date. 😁
Location worked really well for us. Close to a hotel for a meal. Close to buses for transportation. Close to grocery store for supplies. Patrick and Helen were great hosts.
We had a lovely stay in a hotel pod, we had beautiful food in the restaurant. Our accommodation was really nice and spotlessly clean. Would recommend and would love to return.
The hotel was nice and far exceeded our expectations. The only real concern we had was some stains on the chairs in our bedroomApart from that wall was good.
