We were going to the Muse gig and the guy that ran the hotel was very helpful with info about travel and the best ways to get there and back. Breaskfast was good as well. Rooms were comfortable. Pool and Bar were closed, pool table was covered up, needed some more staff to open them up. |

The bedrooms were good, the rest of the hotels could do with a face lift , no pool open no bar open, hotel is in a good location, not enough staff to run the place its a shame it could be good. |

Arrived friday 7th august 2009 at 3pm. Checked in straight away. We had a double room and a single both very clean recently refurbished breakfast very good would stay there again very near shops and harbour ample car parking very quiet by pool good value for money |

quite alot of parking on their driveway, enough for all guests i think, which is a big plus point as i always worry about parking at small hotelsn this was the main reason why i went here also round the corner from town centre/harbour but not on a main road so its quiet, therefore good location. we had a compact double room, it wasnt too small, was very dated though, the room really needed redecorationg to be honest, bathroom was small but fine, looked recently updated. |

The hotel is run down, and needs a revamp. There were wires sticking out everywhere. Holes in ceilings and walls. Was not allowed to use swimming pool. The pictures of the hotel and facilities looked good. |

yes there was a few things ,the hotel could do with a bit of a makeover outside it looked very scruffy ,also the pool was covered over and dont think had been opened in the last year ,if i had children would have been very dissapointed . never anybody on reception , |

The helpfulness of the staff was excellent whilst not being at all "pushy". Our room was large with a lovely king size bed. The room had been refurbished with very good en-suite facilities. All in all we had a lovely stay which was excellent value for money Not being able to have poached eggs at breakfast |

Seaview room, excellent bathroom, parking facilities, walking distance of seafront, well-cooked b'fast Smelly, worn pillows, towels not changed and batroom waste bin not emptied for three days, 8.30-9.00 b'fast too early, no choice for dietary requirements |

The hotel was extremely clean and very spacious. The breakfast was nice and the owner was friendly. It was good value for money. It is a shame the pool cannot be used due to a change in devon councils regulations. |

the peace and quite in and around the hotel and the staff were very friendly. no use of the pool but that wasnt down to the owners the council had banned use of all pools due to an accident at another resort. |

off main road so was quiet even though torquay cnetre was 5 ins walk away, the iwner was very helpfull in recomending routes, places to visit, to help you enjoy the visit, could not have been better |

we liked the position which was quiet but close to the harbour, restaurants, shops and other amenities. The room had been recently refurbished. Hotel was historically interesting. ensuite shower room would have benefitted from heating. |

Familiehotel op een goede locatie nabij het centrum van Torquay. Uitvalswegen zijn goed. Centrum op paar mnuten lopen. Rustige omgeving. Zeker aan te bevelen. |
