Clean , modern
Couldn't find the apartment couldn't get in touch with any staff to assist us pictures didn't match what we got and was over priced for what we got
We stayed at the cottage not the apartments, it was clean, comfortable and close to picturesque Yarm. Really lovely.
Few spiders, some traffic noise. Not suitable for disabled people as 18steps to cottage further 2 to gain entry and 15stairs to bed.
The apartment was spacious and had a luxurious feel. Both bedrooms were ensuite and kitchen was fully stocked including tea, coffee and milk.
No staff on site at weekends. Staff hadn't included access code to apartment in original email so we were initially locked out. No-one answered the 2 emergency mobile numbers in spite of several attempts. Staff did however quickly respond to my frantic email and resolve.
Cleanliness and security comfy bed and local facilities Costa / Sainsburys to buy food lots of places to eat on the door step
Travelling on business the photo implied that the apartment had a table / hard surface to work off with WIFI. One large double bed with Tv with spacious en-suite batroom no surface to work / eat off Wifi did not work issues with BT
Good location very close to Yarm centre. Off street parking. Clean.
Let down by quality of bed linen and furniture in the bedrooms. Bare minimum of kitchen utensils. Not 5 star accommodation in any way but would be a good 3/4 star property.
The room was big and the bed was comfortable.
The room was right next to a pub which was open till 2am so unless your on a night out you will get no sleep. I had my young son with me and it took a long time to settle him due to the noise.
Accommodation was not in the location stated in the photograph. The "Luxury rooms" are situated in Danby Wynd in the centre of Yarm. Mobile numbers for assistance were not answered Emailed for assistance, no reply No Wifi, despite being confirmed on the booking. Phone reception was poor so unable to use phone hotspot to do some work either! No desk for working! Room next to a shop/business, aircon units outside the window were creating a noise all night & staff started work at 5am moving objects outside in a small passageway!! At best this was like B&B accommodation without the breakfast!! The use of "Apartments" in their business name/address is a misnomer as clearly also renting rooms in the area. Just be careful when making a booking that accommodation suits your needs. The Danby Wynd room I had would be OK for a leisure stay but even then I'd suggest book a B&B and certainly don't book the "luxury room" if you are in the area for business!!! Make sure you book an apartment!
The appartment was clean and well equipped.
We had been offered a cottage in place of a 2 night stay which involved switching apartments for convenience...do not take this option. The "cottage" is not of the same standard and was shabby and grubby. We were moved back to the apartments which were much better.
Nicely furnished and spacious
Location - noisy as on main gods and next to busy pub
Location, space and cleanliness
Just a couple of minor points - lots of equipment but no teapot/coffee pot or jug of any kind. Wi fi didn't seem to want to let us log on
The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was ideal and the apartments decor and appliances were of a high standard. Would recommend staying here short or long term.
Apartment was really nice, liked that there was milk, tea and coffee and that all rooms had tv's. Also liked how close the apartments were to the high street. Would definately book again.
Some of the bedroom furniture in the smaller bedroom with the ensuite was a bit shabby and none of the TV's appeared to work. Also there was a strong smell of drains in the corridor of the building and in the apartment.
Spacious and clean. Well stocked with pots, pans etc
Proximity to main road and next door to a busy pub
Close to the location we were attending, very clean, good quality furnished, high stAndard, close to the Pub with good service and nice food.
The Property might have been 5 star when it was new but it had so many problems that needed fixing and others that someone had attempted to fix and failed miserably, I was appalled to say the least. Cracked and crumbling floor tiles in the Bathrooms were only the beginning, broken knobs on the oven, Broken springs in the sofa, which we couldn't sit on. wiring on the plug to the heated towel rail looked like it been repaired by a child it was unsafe, The smell when you walked in through the main door was disgusting, No plug in the kitchen sink, So you couldn't wash dishes properly, The property had all wooden floors that creaked at every step, You could hear people walking above you at all hours, Never again.
The flat was lovely and just a few minutes walk to the centre of yarm. Great stay
Easy acess no messing about Good quilty finish on propety Sky Tea milk etc
Wifi wouldnt connect No reception or staff present Very loud dripping from gutter kept me awake all night
Clean, modern, ample parking, next to a good pub (doing food), good size rooms, excellent shower, well appointed
loose toilet seat (apologies given), Insubstantial mattress, Blinds failed to keep much light out in the bedroom
The apartment was decorated well and was ideally located close to the local amenities; within walking distance of the shops, restaurants and bars.
The electrics. My friend received an electric shock from the cooker hood and the electrics were tripped a second time when turning on the lights in the living room.
Noise - traffic noise at the front and train noise at the back - could not sleep! Parking-could not park as stated due to selfish neighbours Kitchen units - Both the front of the built in Fridge and Dish washer were practically off. So caused a lot of hassle! Towels - stinks!
Loved the location which was ideal for us. The apartment itself was lovely, although cupboards had not been cleaned very well at all. The staff also were as helpful as much as they were able to be with limitations.
The apartment was advertised as sleeping 4 people. The second bedroom was tiny- no cupboard space at all.We had to hang clothes over doors and the the curtain rail. The bed was supposed to be double but there was absolutely no way it was double- 3/4 at the most and suitable only for 2 young children, not adults. The washer did not work properly- the spin did not work and when I asked about it. I was told they would get someone to fix it but this did not happen before we checked out. The oven did not work and I was told that the heat was coming on but it did not actually cook things that were put in the oven- fortunately we could manage without it. Overall disappointed about some things as did expect a higher standard as advertised as luxury but as this is probably one of few accommodation like this, in the area, I would stay there again but not as a family of more than 3 people
Location & standard of accommodation was superb we will be back!
Modern, immaculate, spacious. No specific complaints just minor suggestions as I am fussy !! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have booked to go again.
In the bedroom the TV and the lamp were placed precariously on the window sill with wires dangling that I was wary of tripping on and pulling these items over. Fixing the TV onto the wall and getting a matching bedside table would solve this problem. Also to give it an extra bit of luxury, some nice towelling robes would be nice !! And maybe a hair dryer. But no major complaints.
