This is not a Hotel. It`s a room in a Conference centre. There is a self service canteen not a restaurant. What it does is good but had I known what it was I would not have stayed there
Wifi was the best ive ever had in any hotel.. Rooms were excellent and had everything i needed, i especially like the check out card drop boxes
I was only there for one night
Lots to do,handy bar and restaurant. Good beds in compact buildings. Good parking
Quite busy and not necessary quite restfully due to other guests
Seems good as a training centre.
It's a training centre. Not a hotel. Not really of a high enough standard for leisure use. No restaurant facilities at weekends apart from breakfast. Small rooms. I paid £76 for a Sunday night. Too much.
Car park pitch black in the evening and quite a way from the accommodation.
Friendly and very helpful staff Good facilities and location Excellent Value for money
Bar Wifi Food Cleanliness Quiet
Reception 24 hour service Items in rooms absent, not working or inadequate (See my earlier email)
Helpful and friendly staff, fairly cheap for a one night stay and good choice at breakfast.
A bit soul-less, like a stark university hall of residence. Lots of building work going on next door, have to drive past a building site to get there.
The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Choice of breakfast was excellent
The noise made by the boys in the Nike Acafemy
Not a hotel at all rude staff in canteen run as a training centre for poor telecom engineers what on earth are they thinking of trying to pass this dump off as a hotel
Breakfast was exceptional for choice, it was hot tasty and there was plenty. Staff were helpful friendly especially the receptionist. Security system impressive ample car parking so often there is never enough
Venue so large it was austere. Gym was a trek 9 am breakfast finished which was crazy we were at a function until 3 am back for 3.30 am up for 8 am out for breakfast for 8.30 am to enable us to be out for the 9 am deadline. (shattered for the rest of the day) Bed was lumpy and kept popping like the springs were going. total building site not your fault but you must admit what an eye sore.
Quiet. Clean. Comfortable. Good breakfast. Seemed a bit like a barrack -like when we first saw it but it quickly grew on us. Will certainly stay again when we are in the area because it it so quiet.
Price Breakfast was easy to access, hot. Location was good Ease of checkin and checkout Room was clean Had a slight issue with the shower and staff responded in an instant
Room was a little tired in decor Big brown patch on the room ceiling Centre used for various groups, unfortunately it sounded like a youth club in the hallway Limit on number of items from the hot breakfast server
Very friendly helpful staff
Thought it was nearer to the motorway
the staff were very helpful the room was clean and tidy we would come back every time
The staff went out of their way to be helpful.
The breakfast was a bit over cooked
Stayed here for the use of gym, the gym was reasonable.
Nowhere to eat nearby. Wifi connection seemed a bit poor.
Parking was great
Reception was not manned , breakfast was not uptostandard candy machine jammed so many times staff had to refund money. liked like a building site not a accomodation centre
Nice clean, breath of fresh air from others
The crown hotel which we booked prior coming here. Booking .com don't police the hotels they recommend as such.
Be prepared that it is like a large uni dorm! The accomodation blocks are away from the reception building. The room was clean and wifi was very good. Breakfast was also good
The room was very small and cramped. It iwas also hot and poorly ventilated as the window would only open a small distance.
Very clean and spacious grounds Friendly staff Good conference facilities
Directions to the conference centre were inadequate Lot of construction work going on at the entrance
The centre is handily situated a few miles south with easy access to Stoke on Trent. The room was clean and functional, the wi-fi was helpful and connected straightaway. Breakfast was really good value. The centre has a bar which showed all of the world cup football games - ideal.
The room furniture was a bit budget, and the bed was really uncomfortable. At check in we were not given any details of the gym and fitness centre advertised on the website, and only knew about the bar and restaurant by overhreaing others.
Friendly Staff, clean place, plenty of parking.
Signage could be better to get to the hotel. My twin room was very small. Needed extra pillows.
Good car parking Breakfast Pleasant staff
Slow service in the bar. Dreadful overpriced bar snacks (an overcooked dry bread roll and a microwaved hot dog sausage - £3.50)
Bed like sleeping on concrete
