The Bulkeley Hotel is just yards from the beach and pier alongside the Menai Straits. It enjoys stunning views overlooking the water to the mountains of Snowdonia.

This highly regarded hotel in Amlwch, Anglesey has a restaurant with a fine reputation for serving only the freshest ingredients.
Score from 87 reviews Wonderful
broken window so noisy room from traffic on main road outside
Room was sapcious and clean with excellent bathroom. Position of the hotel is central for town.
Parking was a way form the hotel but did not cause a problem, might do so if you were there for more than a short break.
Fantastic, well thought out décor and wonderfully helpful and friendly staff.
Feather and down pillows, and minimal vegetarian choices on the menu.
we stayed in the townhouse, the standard was superb we were absolutely delighted, we had the nicest room, which room that was will have to remain our secret !
only staying one night ! but we will return soon.return!!
The Townhouse rooms are modern, spacious and a pleasure to stay in.
....to echo a famous guest, Charles Dickens, "Please sit can we have some more?" We loved the mixture if very old and very modern, Inn and modern Townhouse conversion. Food better than gruel too....
We were surprised to learn we were in the town house and after the initial shock of entering a room the polar opposite of the look/feel of the exterior and main building, we soon fell in love with it. If you can get your head around the ultra modern and stylish fittings and layout you will love the place. The bathroom was enormous and beautifully designed. His and hers sinks, very large tub, absolutely excellent. The breakfast was good and the staff were very polite all save for one young receptionist who definitely didn't want to be there. The location couldn't hand been handier and the room was very quiet. We loved the stay and will return...
Wifi is a joke in the town house, we couldn't get a signal at all. Also the room we stayed in "cream", however beautiful and well appointed is was could have done with a bit of a touch up here and there. Paint flaking in a corner, rub marks on the bottom of doors etc. Parking is an issue but if you park on the carpark opposite and come back after 6pm you only pay £1 as opposed to the £3 all day.
We were in the townhouse, it was fantastic. Comfy beds and lovely space. Thanks
Big comfortable bed. Quality linen and towels. Molton Brown soap and shampoo etc. Lovely room but a bit claustrophobic. Wonderful for a short stay.
No parking at the hotel.
Room was modern and spacious, food in brassiere was high quality and staff attentive and friendly. Good value for money.
Parking is not easy
Breakfast not in The price
No parking facility. Hand basin operation inconvenient. No provision of chutney with breakfast
Central and easy to find. Near shops and beach etc. Bed and pillows really comfortable and clean. Staff in breakfast were friendly and helpful.
I think breakfast should be included in the price and more details about the parking.
great sized room, comfy bed and chairs, spacious and pristine bathroom. really luxury feel to the hotel
no fridge for milk etc for tea and coffee, so silver thermos of milk provided was sour by the following morning
Pleasant hotel, helpful staff and a nice room in the original building. Initially offered a room in the annex. We were told that all booking.com clients are given these rooms. Needs looking into.
Dinner in the brasserie was poor. Need a new chef! Too many flavours in one dish. Breakfast was good, but expensive.
everything except ease of parking overnight in the area
Very well presented room, wonderfully decorated and furnished with excellent bathroom.
Low ceiling light which seemed to get in the way
Town House rooms were modern and good quality
Everything apart from the small car park.
the small car park, and having to therefore find somewhere else to park.
Noisy air con. Needs light proof curtains
Nice rooms in a very pretty town. Excellent food in Bistro. Good for short break.
The most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Liked the fresh milk rather than uht in the room, and generally liked the contemporary decor and ambience
We are at the Brasserie for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were great but the dinner was disappointing and we sent back one main course. The staff changed it without a quibble and didn't charge for the replacement which was a nice touch
Nice and spacious hotel rooms. Choice between the restaurant and the brasserie.
Some rooms are in a new building next door called the Townhouse. The deco is very modern and design, thus it lacks personality and charm: you could be anywhere.
The room was brilliant. Large room and bathroom. Very comfy bed and fully appointed
