The room was facing the main road, therefore very noisy until the early hours. The breakfast was exceptional. Overall Good Value for the price paid.
Very noisy at night.
Lovely friendly accommodating staff. Breakfast very good with choices to suit every pallet.
location is in the centre of ryde
The staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful, even in giving directions to the car park to my passenger while driving.
We were originally offered Room 31 which is in the roof of the hotel. You could barely stand up and it was very claustrophobic. We asked to change however and were given a family room at no extra charge. The hotel was a bit tired decor wise.
The room door whilst shut and locked would bang when security door in passage was opened, seemed to cause a vacuum. Bit annoying during evening/night time. Water for some reason leaked in via window at top. Both issues reported to reception.
This hotel is great central location and the choice at breakfast was great and good quality. Staff are very friendly.
Mattresses need upgrading. We had booked a double and single room and both mattresses were poor quality with springs impressed into your back.
The room was clean breakfast was great. The staff was friendly .
Very comfortable bed with nice comfy blanket and sheets Excellent location Good breakfast
The high street below was noisy until at least 3am we had no sleep and should hsve been warned. Staff not interested
Lack of sleep Should have had refund
Lovely room Friendly staff Nice food Goos breakfast Value for money
Bed was big and comfortable, spacious room. Staff friendly and helpful
The reception was welcoming and the bedroom was a good size. Food and drink in the bar was good quality and reasonably priced. Breakfast was plentiful.
Total lack of sleep on the Saturday night due to very noisy bar next door to hotel (under our room! so avoid room 33) Room was dusty and décor was dated. Public areas need redecorating and the hotel was unbearably hot - heating on full on a mild autumn day.
The staff seemed nice and friendly. I enjoyed how far away from the sea it was as not much of a walk
The room was to hot when got there and had have the fan on all the time
Central location,friendly staff,good breakfast.
Poor showe and away from bar, resturant areas decor looked a bit tired
We like everything about this hotel its the third time we've been back such lovely friendly staff comfortable beds and excellent food and we will be back again
The two ladies on the desk when we checked in were brilliant. I'm sorry I don't know their names, but they were friendly and very helpful with restaurant recommendations. Professional as well as very friendly. Great first impression!
The mattress was quite hard, but I am used to a very soft mattress so just my preference rather than an issue
Great location as family live nearby. If staying for a few days a small cafe table to compliment the chairs in tv area wouldn't go amiss. But everything else was perfect.
i particular assistant who could not have been more helpful
The bed was very comfortable, nice big room, lovely staff.
Noisy, we were subject to some very loud extremely bad language from the bar next door. This was day and early evening. Late at night the was just a nice buzz of noise which was more except able. The towels are mean. Far too small and mostly threadbare. Go to the Bloc hotel gat wick airport to find a good bath towel.
Clealiness Staff was very helpful and friendly Food
close transport links, friendly and helpful service and good food too.
Central location means v. busy area and resulting noise from street - perhaps request a room away from the front of the hotel if you are a light sleeper
Staff were excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for them. A very comfortable hotel convenient for the ferry.
Noise from pub next door til late into the night
Main Hotel was welcoming, Staff were polite. Location was perfect for me. Breakfast was great value.
Rooms were very hot and when window was open there was a lot of noise outside especially as in the annexe the fire door was used as a walk through from the rear car park and this slammed every time someone walked through.
Room, tea and coffee Dinner and breakfast both varied and excellent
