The Yenton is a friendly hotel on Bournemouth's East Cliff, walking distance from the beach and center of town. It has cozy rooms, a lovely garden, good breakfasts and free parking. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the cliff top. The Tudor-style Yenton Hotel has a restaurant serving breakfast. The bar lounge has a cozy fire, and the conservatory overlooks the garden. All rooms have a private bathroom and some have garden views. Hotel Rooms: 24

We had a wonderful break. Matt & Thom were great hosts and we will cedrtainly return. Ideal location for shops,theatre.etc. The only thing I missed in our room was a long mirror and a selection of biscuits with our tea - only minor issues.

The lovely olde worlde atmosphere with oak beams, Chesterfield sofas, chintz curtains, that old fashioned, country / rustic look. The room I stayed in was excellent, a large double with lots of antique pine furniture, plenty of storage space, and a desk for my laptop. The gardens were beautiful.

The breakfast was good. Although the room had its faults for one night it was ok but no longer. It was clean. The shower was dreadful in my room, dripped out and cold, which was a shame as I was staying there prior to a Christmas Work do I would like to have been able to indulge myself in a nice long hot shower before getting ready. Not to be!!!! The room was very basic, the bathroom floor really let things down, dirty and cracked, as did the carpet and curtains in bedroom, all old and poorly fitted. I would have been freezing with the old original windows but thankfully the owner had put a stand alone radiator in the room that I could use.

Previous reviews said it was cozy and I fully agree. I went for the beach, to bask in the sun and I found the place fit for the purpose. Friendly staff offer to help as much as possible. Overall good on what they offer to deliver and good value for money. Will stay there again if possible. Toilets in the reception area could improve on fittings and cleanliness.

There was a wedding held at the hotel on the Saturday and although it wasn't a huge issue I would have liked to have been informed about it prior to us arriving at the hotel.

This was a last minute booking to attend a wedding in Bournemouth. The hotel was chosen purely on convenience to the wedding reception therefore no pre-conceived ideas of quality. I found it clean, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was the economical room (the only one available) but was much larger than I expected - to the extent that the tv was too small for the room - and well furnished. The breakfast was substantial and well cooked. Not a complaint as such, but because of the distance of the hotel away from the shopping area, they should consider providing snacks at lunchtimes on request. (Hotel is b&b only)
