Close to sea front
No thermostatic control on radiator making room too hot. was told to open the window to cool it, bed very lumpy, at the price expected much better
lovely friendly hotel great breakfast good location
Quiet, comfortable, good breakfast, friendly staff.
Staff were lovely and the hotel very clean. Was a nice hotel :) and a last minute emergency booking. Thank you Andrea and Donna.
The beds were of a poor standard resulting in disturbed sleep. The shower was not hot enough at 7am.
We arrived late and Sam on the desk could not have been more accommodating and cheerful. On the second night we had had a really long day out sightseeing and didn't really want to go out again for food. Luckily for us Caroline on the reception said we could order in Chinese and she sorted our crockery and cutlery for us so that we could eat in the bar !! Lovely rooms and great staff!!!! !!!
Very friendly staff, and brilliant location for the beach. Lovely room, massive bed & very comfy.
very close to sea front all in working .
we had a bees nest in garage roof so could not open bathroom window ,do report this and they were sorting out nest
This is a dog friendly hotel, managed by friendly staff. It was very clean and comfortable, had a relaxing stay and would go there again.
My twin room was a good size, the teas and coffee's were well stocked, the shower was strong and hot, it was clean and the domedtic staff were very obliging. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. All in all, a great hotel, that met my needs, which were to rest and recharge.
Very friendly Gave us some great information about the best places to go in bournemouth
Quiet location but convenient for both beach and town centre, beautiful gardens
Really lovely staff, nothing was too much trouble. I transferred from the Queens which was awful on every level, the Yenton was a million times better and half the price. Beautiful gardens and rooms very well furnished, very clean, big fluffy towels, comfy bed, decent TV, nice little touches like quality soaps, kit kats. Good choice of breakfast and freshly cooked. Great location for Bournemouth and Boscombe beaches. Thank you Matt and team.
There wasn't anything not to like about this hotel.
Welcome, cleanliness, breakfast, parking
Adequate but not brilliant shower
Got a bath and plenty of hot water. Bed was comfy. Easy parking. Good Tv with lots of channels. Good drinks tray.
But no curtains or blinds in the bathroom which was off-putting, and the wall between adjoining room was embarrassingly thin, may as well have been paper wall like in Japan.
Location was good about 20 mins walk to Town Centre, 5 mins walk to the East cliff path. Very clean. Lovely breakfast and plentiful.
Nobody seem to go in the bar area. Lack of milk for my cup of tea. Didnt take my dirty mug away each day until I asked for a clean mug.
It was very peaceful . Beautiful gardens and fantastic rooms
Breakfast was very slow but good when it arrived. Hair dryer in room would have been good, too late when you realise it is not there Check out time of 10 is too early
I just like the complete package, all the staff are brilliant at all levels. Nothing is too much trouble, they are ready to help and assist. Knowledgeable of local area, ready to offer help in local touristy locations
There are no complaints.
The staff are great, from the owners to the house keeping staff, everyone is cheerful, helpful, always ready to help, nothing is too much trouble, even whilst under stress in the current time. Brilliant time, I would recommend The Yenton to any traveller.
Nothing was to much trouble. Very friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel for anyone staying in this area.
We stay in Bournemouth 5-6 times a year and can honestly say this was by far the best Room we have had, the cost for the three night stay was also very welcomed, we recommend the newly refurbished honeymoon suite.
Hotel staff and our fantastic room
The hotel was extremely warm and cozy and the staff very friendly. They were very helpful and provided us with transport information and suggestions to go around Bournemouth. The rooms are comfortable, full of natural light, fresh and super clean. Electric kettle and a hairdryer are provided and the radiator works perfectly, so you can count on all the basics to have a pleasant sleep. The location is very convenient since it takes about 10 minutes walk to the bus/train station and you can find lots of places to eat as well as big market stores. It is less convenient if you want to get to the high street were the main retail shops are, but if you don't want to walk 20 minutes, there are plenty of buses that will take you there in a short ride. The good thing about staying in Yenton is that the area is very quiet and peaceful, full of trees so you can breathe fresh air. So overall I think our stay at this hotel was good value for money, especially to get away from London rush for a couple of days.
The breakfast is not included and it is a bit pricey but the truth is that they have a lot of options in case you don't want to have the full one, and the range of items is wide, especially for the buffet. So, unless you would like to have a coffee with a croissant in Subway, it is better to pay a little extra and have a good meal to start the day.
We liked the location. Only a short walk or £3-4 in a taxi to the centre. Lovely garden, staff and also cats. The parking was also an added bonus. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The surrounding street / area is very beautiful and classy.
On the negative side one of the windows in our room didn't shut, my girlfriend used a Hairdryer which went bang by her head on use and tripped the rooms electrics (only a brief apology given no form of compensation to what could have been a potentially fatal / extremely dangerous incident), there was no wifi in the room which I was under the impression was included. £8.95pp for a very minimal sized breakfast (would not recommend) the hotel was nice but slightly dated with a damp smell in our building. Our stay was pleasant but over priced for what it was unfortunately. If we return to Bournemouth I do not think we would use the Yenton again as I do not think it is great value for money.
Gardens, Cleanliness, Linen, Towels, Breakfast
Old Tired fixtures and fittings, bedside table didnt work. TV very poor reception. Mattress was awful resulting in poor sleep. No inroom Wi Fi
