Position was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was varied and good quality. We were warned before arrival that we may have a small double on the third floor. This turned out to be true. |

Everything was spot on - lovely room, breakfast and service. It was only one night on which to base opinion. Some confusion as we left as we thought we had paid on line at point of booking. Apparently not. There is nothing to indicate whether the amount has been paid or not. The staff agreed and were going to mention this. |

The cleanliness was outstanding. The breakfast was generally good and served with a smile! Management was very keen to please and be helpful Sadly my elderly mother found the stairs very difficult. Perhaps on booking there should be a "needs" requirement box? Or a lift! |

Central location. Excellent breakfast. Nicely furnished room, very stylish. Flooring in bathroom slightly shabby, esp given the very high standard of the rest of the furnishings. WiFi access advertisied but very poor signal in our room. Had to go to the landings down on flight of stairs to access my emails. |

This is a small family run friendly hotel, convenient fo both the town centre and my business trip. The breakfasts were excellent and I found the staff helpfull and friendly. I would recomend this hotl to others visitinging Barnstaple and require good inexpensive accomodation. |

Very central location. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds. Immaculately clean. Very well presented room. Distinct lack of parking. My room was an attic room with low exposed beams. Wouldn't recommend rooms on the top floor for anyone with an adversity to stairs. |

A former coaching inn right in the centre of Barnstaple, this historic hotel combines old world character and charm with the convenience of a modern hotel. |
