Absolutely lovely staff, we returned early from a picnic concert at Hampton court, and they couldn't have been more helpful, even providing plates and cutlery for us to finish our picnic out in the courtyard, altogether a romantic and relaxed weekend, with a nice long cycle trip along the river on Sunday, after a great breakfast. |

Lovely room, great place any time of year have been here before. Great room service menu. Would have been nice to have a rug in the room...bit minimal. Reception did not know what was on the bar food menu and there was not one in the room. |

Friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great breakfast provided with local ingredients / homemade bread, jam etc. Room was comfortable and spacious, with character No wireless internet, and there are bits that look a bit dated (eg the bathroom), but for the price / location I dont really care |

Upgraded me to a better room at no extra cost as hotel was quiet. 24 hour bar service available Worry about have I paid the bill twice, and they forgot to give me the early morning call I had ordered when they asked if I wanted one. When I told the guy on reception in the morning he said 'oh', not ever sorry! If I had not woken up it could have been disasterous for me. |

Great atmospheric room in the old part of the hotel. Peter the South African night porter is enormous fun. Wonderful breakfast at a long shared table. |

Food, atmosphere No wireless broadband!!!! It was supposed to have, and it was one of the reasons I chose it - so I could answer important emails in the evening. Instead I had to phone the usa! They didn't get it fixed in the 4 nights I was there. Not good. |

Privacy and quietness of bedroom. Lovely countryside location of hotel in the village. Ample parking spaces. Fast and friendly sevice of staff. Rather limited menu and obscure meal choices. Particularly difficult for anyone with low-fat dietary needs. |

The extremely helpful receptionist. I would book again on a good price deal. I think the price I paid was a fair price for the room. Unfortunately I arrived at 9.45, and could only order from a very limited after hours menu. However, the next pub up the road has a take away menu behind the bar, and you can order food to be delivered before 10.30 - so I had a very pleasant chinese. The locals were very friendly and helpful. |
