Very nice hotel with good bedrooms designed in an older period and luxurious fittings. We dined in the restaurant in the evening with Family and the food was very good. Not much we were very happy with our nights stay.

I was very impressed with the rooms ;.However I am disappointed with all the following : Was extremely disappointed as could not sleep in the night due to deafening music till 1 am . we werent told that there will be a late night party and if informed we would not have stayed in that hotel. My wife is a hypertensive and we have two daughters 6 and 3 who were extremely irritable the next day morning . On asking the reception staff the following day , I wasnt impressed with the feedback she gave me . So I need an explanation The food that we ordered was a big portion and we wasted a lot . We asked the waiter about the portions for the kids and when he said it was small , we ordered double the portion .. then had to waste it. When expressed our views to the waiter he wasnt impressed Someone was sick right outside room 2 where we stayed overnight . We woke up with that foul smell , Of course no one would admit their fault , but why werent they apologetic towards us ?

The staff were friendly and efficient. Good food at reasonable prices. We ate in the Bistro but there was the option of fine dining. The choice and quality of food at breakfast was excellent. Beautiful interior with oak panel walls and chandeliers. We stayed in a classic room which was adequate for our needs. The bathroom was compact but had a very good shower. Wardrobe very small if you were staying for more than a couple of nights.

The shower head was fixed at over 2 metres high with no bath as an alternative way to wash. It is not possible to wash thoroughly with a fixed shower head and where there is no bath alternative showers should have a flexible hose and be mounted on a riser rail to be customer friendly.
