Decent enough hotel for the price I paid

It may seem trivial, but the keyboard for the internet computer was absolutely filthy, it obviously had not seen a duster or damp cloth in months. In a state like that it will harbour bacteria

The room was excellent apart from the bed. Immaculate bathroom. Lovely dining room.

Not enough variety of fresh fruit at breakfast and the cooked food was lukewarm instead of being hot.

Good location and helpfull staff.

Decor rather heavy on the beige and looking tired in places.

excellent value for 3 people sharing ,couple & son, we had a family wedding on the friday which was the reason for our stay but because of the excellent price to stay ,park the car and be taken and picked up from the airport , we took a flight the morning after and stayed for 7 nights, amazing. thank you very much

they tend to sweep away the breakfast buffet on the dot of closing time!

Relaxing and the evening meal was very nice

Got to breakfast about 9.15 there was not much of a selection left as the trays were not topped up and as service finished at 9.30 they had no intention of doing so. At 9.25am whilst eating our leftovers the waiter had the cheek to ask if we wanted anything more. Well even if we did we would not have had any full english as there was not much left and also felt embarrassed to go up there. So that could be addressed. Some people do go away during the week and would like not to have to rush down for breakfast before 9.30. Also we were told check out by 11am and the maid knocked to clean the room at 10am so all in all felt very rushed to clear out.

The food was very good, ambience good, and the price was excellent for what we got.

The reception was not up to standard, as there were too many mistakes made.

We stayed at Yew Lodge whilst visiting family in Loughborough, as Yew Lodge was nicer and less expensive than any of the Loughborough hotels. I was very happy with everything and particularly enjoyed the spa facilities and breakfast. Highly recommended.

Very nice hotel with good facilities and friendly staff. Good standard of food in the restaurant but the bar food and drinks were expensive. All in all, considering the price of the room for a weekend break, not bad value.

Got an amazing deal through Booking.com. Great value for money and would recommend the restaurant. Had a lovely three course meal as a special package, portions as you'd expect for a la carte, small but enough. We weren't hurried or rushed with our meal. We enjoyed the Spa facillities and the hotel was quite busy during our stay, but have to say that we had no noise disturbance from the function that was going on in the hotel at all. Would definitely recommend.

Our room wasn't ready on arrival but the staff were extremely helpful in accomodating our needs. We were able to leave luggage with them and start using the hotel facilities immediately.

I liked the location with it not being to far from home, the breakfast choice was excellent, staff were all very friendly, spa complex was excellent, we previously stayed at the hotel in jan 2011 to attend a wedding, that's what prompted our return, room was nice and well equipped .

Mattress was not very comfortable, I put my travel bag on top of wardrobe which was covered in dust.

Clean tablecloths at breakfast.i was put on a table with tea stains from previous user.i told staff but it was not changed.otherwise the stay was ok.

Hotel staff were all pleasant and helpful. Hotel room and decor was very nice. We stayed because we were flying from east midlands airport and found the airport shuttle service excellent. Cant wait to go on holiday again so we can stay here again.
