Staff friendly. Bedrooms clean and comfortable. Food ok. Good location for motorway network and E.Midlands airport. Bar drinks over-priced - £3.50 for a pint of tasteless Boddingtons bitter is ridiculous. No proper English beers available. Food in restaurant a bit pretentious and over-priced for the amount you got.(Avoid the Derbyshire belly pork starter - its a slab of pure fat with a microscopic amount of pork, and they have the audacity to charge £4.95 for it - absolute rip-off ! ) |

Staff very helpful, taxi to and from the airport was a real help and they even used a waiter as the proper driver was elsewhere |

This Hotel delivers with traditional old fashioned standards and i mean that in a very positive way. Too many Hotels these days although classed as 4 star fail to deliver on many levels. Not so with this Hotel. The Staff and i mean all the Staff were courteous, friendly and very professional. This is a very comfortable Hotel where one can truly relax. Room and Bathoom although clean were smaller than expected. The bed was comfortable but very creaky. |

We felt the hotel restaurant staff were very helpful and professional. The rooms were well planned and very clean. Good facilities. We did not like the food cooked for breakfast, there was a good range but was not very well cooked. The reception staff were not particularly efficient. |

very convenient for my visit to Prestwold Hall the next day.Food was excellent and health club well worth a visit. Extractor fan in the bathroom far too noisy and bathroom did not smell fresh!!!! |

Very nice and helpful staff, nice spa and pool, spoitless and clean rooms. Great restaurant both for breakfast and for dinner (we had the half board package). No air conditioning in rooms. Small beds and not very confortable (although we had an executive room). |

we stayed the night before and early morning flight to mexico, everything was perfect and very high standard, I have never had such an efficient transfer to the airport, a lovely driver who was very pleasant and excellent timekeeping and very clean vechile |

Relaxed in spa bar watching sport after a session in the excellent gym /Spa/sauna.We were visititng the theatre in Nottingham and found it a great base for the city and surrounding countryside. breakfast finished a little early for a sunday, but good warning was given. |

Room was nice and tidy. Bed was comfortable and shower/bathroom facilities were ok. Restaurant served very good food. Parking was available but spaces a bit narrow. Setting was nice incl. Outside area/garden. No noise of the planes from East Midlands Airport although it was only a few miles away |

Park & Fly service, easy parking, efficient transfers to and from the airport no waiting, clean comfortable transport. The staff at this hotel were marvellous without exception, they were polite, friendly and couldn't do enough to make us welcome and to ensure a pleasant and relaxing stay before a long flight the next day. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the food excellent. |
