Location - especially in relation to the No 18 & U18 buses
The lack of crockery in the kitchen Getting a cup of tea in the morning was very difficult. Not having clear signs in the kitchen informing everyone that they need to wash up and clear away after themselves
Value for money. Room is space and clean.
No breakfast included and shower condition is very poor. Heater seems doesn't turn on at all.
Easy check in Very basic rooms, but clean rooms
Tiny Staircase and hit my head a few times! Could do with a water glass Heater cables taped up
You can see the beautiful view of Bath from YHA because of the hill location.
We were there on 11-12 Dec 2014 and the weather was very cold. The heater in our room didn't work and there was no portable heater available so we had to sleep in cold place with four layers clothes !!
good location for me, but might be a little bit far from train station. For those who are not familiar with Bath, they can take a bus from station.
Great Price Very Clean Very helpful & Friendly staff sink in bedroom
No car park on top of a big hill no soap in bedroom
Welcoming reception from staff, comfortable bed warm friendly surroundings, Hearty breakfast at great price? Woul definitely recommended.....0
Food was well priced. Opportunity to cook for yourself.
You can get there buy public transport but it is not on the website. Bus u18 or 18.
Being in 1 room with group of friends. The Social room. The meals were good. Great value for money. Friendly, helpful staff.
Not enough toilets.
good sized kitchen and dining room
more comfy seating needed in lounge there might have been more opportunity to socialise with others
Location- too difficult to walk to with bags. Shower- one didn't make a stream of water, the other felt like it was in a caravan.
Great location on hill amongst trees. Fantastic kitchen, dining and lounge areas. Cheap to use washing machine and good drying room.
Wifi is not free unless you are a YHA member. However they make this easy to join if you wish.
the staff is very accommodating and the view here is very nice, situated on the mountain
we lived in a wooden house and it's a little bit old, we find a dead spider on the wall but everything else is great
The price location and convenience
That breakfast finished so early. The bed was very hard and quite noisy at night.
Convenient for a group of friends
The fact that after i booked I wanted to add breakfast and as it was a group of friends celebrating a 21st I requested a late check 3 times( once during the booking process and subsequently after) with no reply that this was being acknowledged by anyone. Consequently 16 youngsters were being hounded at 10am after a Saturday night of partying with I assume no breakfast, Plus the booking system doesn't actually make clear that full payment isn't being taken, so no guests were allowed in until i was tracked down at the party venue in the middle of arranging my daughters 21st, to then have to make payment over the phone-how embarrassing for me after telling my guests it was all paid for.
Staff were great nice lounge, dining room, kitchen
The breakfast was disappointing over done sausage , bacon ,hash browns staff
Free parking nearby, fab building, friendly and helpful staff. Building was lovely, clean, warm and had good facilities. We didn't fell crowded and it wasn't noisy. We were all in room nine and loved having the whole dorm room to ourselves. We all agreed we would happily stay there next time too! We are the kind of girls that tend to be out more than in and don't spend aeons preening our hair or faces.
Breakfast is done and dusted by 9am - it's fine as you can just diy it. It's uphill to get home although it is manageable and did definitely tone up up bums and legs :)
Location, enough number of showers
Had to pay £2 to use towels.
Lovely location easy 20 minute walk to City, bit longer coming back as up hill! Easy parking on hill outside Hostel. Comfy beds.
Breakfast not as hot as would like as sitting under heat lamps which didn't appear hot enough.
The sheets were clean. The bed was narrow but comfortable. Staff late on Friday night and early Saturday morning were friendly.
Badly lit entrance from the main road. Badly lit driveway. The woman on reception on arrival on the evening of 14th November was unfriendly and unhelpful. The cooked breakfast was cold. Plumbing noises kept me awake. The carpet was dirty and smelt. The communal areas were grubby.
Just stay for one night. It is a little expensive to stay here at Friday. So it's better to book it earlier.
It is quite hard to find where the hotel is, especially at night.
2 bathrooms in each dorm. Great storage. The staff were amazing, in every way. Breakfast was so good. Very quiet. Bus stop right at the end of the driveway.
If i had to choose something, it would be that the bed was a little small (i am quite a tall person)
It was such a beautiful building Staff were friendly
A little bit out from the center of town Maybe some more lighting on the pathway from the road up to the hostel.
Nice and warm and comfortable.
Bit cheeky with the wifi! So expensive and doesn't reach the rooms. One of the mos expensive hostels I've stayed in and the only one without free wifi. Not the best location.
The staff was wonderful and helpful
The room set up was a little less comfortable than at previous hostels
