I really enjoyed your self-help kitchen! Best equiped and clean kitchen I have ever seen in a hostel! Well done! And the beds and the bedding were very comfortable as well.
If you had bigger bins in the toilets (I only know about the secon floor) they wouln't be filled to the rim already in the morning. And it would look less messy. But that is just an idea.
Amazing value for money, what a lovely place! Clean, Modern & very friendly staff!
The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly to the kids as well.
There wasnt anything bad, just remember the walls are a little thin so expect to hear a few loud people before 11 pm
It was all great, the best hostel I've been in, anywhere
Other guests having races up and down the corridors at 1am, shouting and screaming and waking everyone else up. It was impossible to get back to sleep.
Stayed at YHA just for one night before a graduation ceremony with my mum, sister and friend. We had a quadruple room for £75 which was a massive saving compared to other hotels in Cambridge. We were so impressed, it was clean and very modern. Most importantly we felt safe as you need a card to get into the area where the rooms are. There's a sink in the room and individual toilets and shower rooms which was great. Only downside was breakfast, the hot water was cold in the flasks so tea wasn't nice and the hot food was average. Cheap though at £4.99! Overall, brilliant experience. Would definitely stay again when I visit friends in Cambridge.
the surrounding is very calm and enjoyable.
should provide keys per person for room.
Staff at the YHA were very knowledgeable and helpful- helped us get the most out of our stay and to book onward transport, we really appreciated this.
The beds aren't the most comfortable- typical YHA foam beds, good for a few nights but not longer.
good facilities, even convenient luggage room. Every room with four beds and with their own bathroom, great for travelors. close to the train station. friendly staff, and you can buy cheap puntting ticket from them.
little bit far away from colleges.
The hostel have a great location, great stuff and amennities. Good price for Cambridge.
The bathroons is not in total order.
staff are wonderful, even with my incompetence :) Great facilities - washer / dryer coin operated. Don't need staff to assist. Can be done at a time that suits you
I stayed when there was a large group of school youths. It is not the hostels fault, but it got very loud and at time few communial areas such as the lounge could not be accessed my me as the group was occupying them
Clean, modern compact hostel, nice cafe and seating area, friendly staff, good value breakfast, good location to station and city centre. Outdoor area not in operation at time, but could see it would be good in summer. Comfy small lounge but with no tv facility.
Rooms/corridors slightly 'prison like' in its design and construction, heavy swing doors mean lots of banging with latecomers at night and early morning. Narrow stairways difficult for luggage handling and it took 4-5 swipe card doors to reach my room, Was this for security or fire I am not sure but more than 5 star hotels or embassies usually have! Small typically 'European' toilet rooms.
Staff great, very helpful.
A bit noisy- a party of German school children seemed to be packing all through the night.
Certain aspects of the refurbishment - lovely lounge area. Friendly, helpful, welcoming staff
I was incredibly disappointed that the refurbishment of the hostel doesn't seem to have addressed many of the problems. Doors still slam shut, meaning that it's hard to get a good night's sleep. There are insufficient bike lockers - there were even insufficient lockers in the dorm room I was staying in (four proper ones for six people). One of the showers was out of order while I was staying there and the showers were tiny - almost claustrophobia-inducing - and horrible. Paint coming off the sink surrounds, no surfaces to put anything down on. Many oversights on the refurbishment. Also I found in this particular hostel, as I have found with other YHA hostels, as there is a distinct bias towards younger people and groups. I wasn't able to order any food in the restaurant on the evening I was staying as a group was in. Groups of school children seem to be allowed to run amok in the hostel as well - no doubt because as a large booking they are bringing in lots of money for the hostel so it doesn't matter that they might be causing disruption to other guests. It's a real shame as I've always found the staff incredibly friendly and helpful here and was prepared to give it another go following the refurbishment, however I won't be staying here again. Particularly given that for a mere couple of pounds extra I can have my own room in a B&B where I am assured a decent night's sleep.
The hostel is very close to the train station and not far from Cambridge city center. The staff is very helpful, they try to clean the common spaces but as it is a hostel there is always mess and dirt at a certain point in the day. The prices are also pretty descent.Nice mini-library available at the lounge area where you can read books for free.
Dirty showers if you try to take one at night, prefer daytime right after the staff has cleaned the place. Same for toilets.
My requests were met with kindness. Thank you again.
I've been here several times, and they never made me disappointed at all! :) The staff was really kind. The breakfast was amazing, too! I would definitely recomment this place to other travelers! I arrived here late at night and they explained what to do very well!
This was one of the cleanest, nicest hostels I've stayed in. The staff was friendly and accommodating, our room was comfortable, and the common areas were really nice. Good location to go out in town centre, just a 10-15 minute walk to some really fun bars.
친절한 직원 nice staffs 아침을 비롯한 모든 음식이 정말 맛있음.. very very delicious food 위치도 기차역에서 가까움 close from the railstation 24시간 리셉션 센터~ 24hours reception

the location easy to find from the train station
nothin to say to this
location is ok
The staff were lovely and professional, the food was very good, the hostel was very clean and tidy....
The type of doors throughout the hostel makes is impossible to sleep! Bang, Bang, Bang all night! As a global traveller this was the worst nights sleep I have ever had in a hostel. In addition the ceilings echoed every footstep - such a shame as the service and facilities were very good!
Facilities are new.
the room was neat spacious as an hostel breakfast was also good the environment was serene the staff was welcoming
no free wifi bathroom floor not deep to get water controlled.
very cosy hostel
internet is too expensive, some shampoo in the shower would be nice
