Feel of property, ease of stay, friendliness of staff, value for money. Parking was a nice bonus
Not enough power sockets in the lounge within reach of seats - a powerstrip extension would probably fix this. Internet access could be better managed and cheaper, say x amount per stay rather than a daily charge.
Rooms were clean and very comfortable. The toilet was nice.
Rooms were rather small and the toilet need not be so big
location near city center nice lounge clean bathroom in suite room nice and helpful welcome good coffee good price for tasteful breakfast possible to put suite cases into lockers
service at breakfast, very grumpy and rude man the night wake up caused by alarm because of mindless guests - not fault of personnel, but they should have called police bad condition of windows; opening themselves
Cheap, easy and friendly
Worked up by loud punters at 2 in the morning (not really the YHAs fault) but then again woken up at 3 am by a fire alarm. Also reception wasn't open when it said it would be when we left so weren't able to hand our card back.
How fresh and clean it was, Kitchen was well equipt, bed was comfortable but pillow was not, Showers were a comfortable size and good water supply
Location is a bit far out of town and from CBW train station, Older people who request a lower bunk could not get one, No way of making sure one has a locker as there are not enough for everyone to have one, Toilets were in incredibly small rooms
comfortable, clean, a short walk to the town
The temperature in the room was no more than 16 Celsius degrees, therefore the stay in the room was not convinient at all!!!
Not free internet connection
The location is good and the facilities are great. Receptionist was very helpful.
Free WiFi only available to YHA members
Alice was simply wonderful and truly looked after me. A wonderful base to visit my son.
Great self-catered kitchen and plenty of space in the common rooms.
Not enough cupboards in the four-bed dorms. Too many young children slamming doors and yelling all night.
Slept comfortably TV -was able to watch Hot chocolate made by receptionist was lovely
Shower Too many Foreigners -but thats Ok -Not your fault 2 Kept talikng in TV room
The overall facilities were good.
Nothing serious problem.
nice building clean only 10 min to the cathedral
a bit stuffy at night
The staff were so kind and patient and helpful. Reception was great, both on the phone and face to face. The room was clean and bright, the building is a wonderful old house, which has been modernised very tastefully.excellent value. Looking forward to my next trip
sleep was really bad. not yha's fault but the others who were in the room were snoring loudly that i was trying to sleep until 1am.
Best price Close to town
Very good basic group accommodation with friendly staff in great location.
very clean, excellent breakfast, recently renovated to a high standard ,,,, friendly staff and close to the city centre..
the only problem was a large group or teenages being noisy ..
Comfortable beds, en suite, friendly staff, close to town, clean, up to date rooms
The bedroom was so hot during the night I couldn't sleep
Access to a beautiful city and magnificent cathedral and the theatre. Good launch pad for our Kent cycling trip. Staff all very helpful and Martin in particular. Secure bike shed with easy access. Fresh colour scheme. Clean
This was the second time we returned after a day gap. We were this time in the basement with very noisy people above jumping. On the top bunk that's not great at1.30 a.m. Wash basin not located in the toilet.
The YHA was excellent and efficient. The staff very helpful and friendly. Good location for seeing the many sights, good restaurants and the magnificent cathedral. Very good theatre repertoire. The cycle shed was secure and easily accessible
Near busy main road. Bit far from the centre We were upset that as we had booked through Booking.com and on arrival learned that we weren't eligible for the YHA member discount. This wasn't clear at the time of booking. This should be looked into by the organisation
duvet a bit smelly
very small cramped private room which got extremely hot.
