A little cold in the lounge area in the evening. Noise on Saturday night from a particular group possibly a hen night or some such celebration, however by 1.40 a.m. it was getting a little wearing, luckily they left next morning.

The location! This Youth Hostel is in a great position for climbing Wetherlam and the Old Man of Coniston, and for visiting the local pubs afterwards.

Right in Conistan the Lake District. Lovely town, great pub and Breath taking views!
Staff! Man at the front desk bordered on rude. No emotion didn't feel welcome at all! No wifi which wouldn't put me off. But it was the first out of all the places I have stayed in two weeks travelling.
