TV room next to drying room - probably cozy in cold weather but was hot and stuffy. Lounge fine.
Good drying room
Plumbing a little old
Great for walks from hostel
A number of people aired concerns not enough plug sockets to which I agree Cool damp bedroom
Welcome on arrival Sufficient cooking utensils and area Warm company and fire
No recycling inside the hostel or in self catering. I was glad of the evening meal but could replace frozen chips (bit dry and burnt) with a baked potato (hard to ruin!) The veggie meal had tiny bit of cheese, could re-design meal to include more protein (nuts in salad?)
Friendly staff, great location, comfortable and lo-cost. First time in female dorms for me - no-one snored, hurrah!
Short of eletricity plug supplier.
warm, cosy, friendly and value for money.

Could do with more showers when hostel is full. Ideally would have liked a second pillow. Otherwise, all excellent.
Staff went the extra mile for us.Beds fantastically comfortable. Great food. Brilliant value.
Toilets could have been cleaner and I had a problem with the lock on one.
Bar, including prices, location, friendly staff, easy booking and check in.
A little cold in the lounge area in the evening. Noise on Saturday night from a particular group possibly a hen night or some such celebration, however by 1.40 a.m. it was getting a little wearing, luckily they left next morning.
Location, ideal access to this part of the fells. Beautiful location. Atmosphere in the hostel Facilities generally excellent Availability of information from staff and leaflets Books in the lounge Excellent drying room Really well maintained.
Enjoyed the area- the hostel was all that it said on the can
