Hot water and comfortable bunk
Not having stayed in a Youth Hostel for 40-odd years, so this was a very different experience! The room was small but adequate for an overnight stay; beds were comfy, bathroom was very clean, though shower was a bit fierce and not designed with women in mind!
Car park could have been better lit (we arrived quite late) and some other guests were noisy - though there were notices requesting quiet.
The bed is very good! With power socket and lump.
10 o'clock check out time is bit early.
good value for money pleasant and helpful staff.
Only stayed 1 night, for what we paid (£20) it was all fantastic, especially the lovely staff. Had everything we needed, beds were small but really comfy, everything was very clean, spotless. Kitchen had usual amenities, the staff again were very kind.
I really liked the location of the hostel
I disliked that there wasn't any place you could sit and talk in the evenings without waking up the other guests
The hostel was hard to find when walking on the South Downs way!
Staff Local pub
Little beds but ok
We thought the YHA Eastbourne is a friendly and relaxing place. There were good facilities and it was clean and comfortable.
We have no complaints.
Staff is nice and the environment is comfortable
bedroom initially too warm, but better when radiator turned off.
As above staff an older lady kept place immaculate and was always around excellent !
Some of the fellow guests were a bit different
I liked the comfort of the room and the location of where it's situated
Too dark outside the hostel, needs lighting.
