I stay here with my children for access visits and we just love it. The staff are so helpful and the games room and lounge are great spaces to hang out.
It's all good
Staff were friendly Food was great We felt safe
Noisy people late at night (just one group of people)
Helpful and friendly staff Great surroundings
Windows didn't open wide, so it was stuffy. Lack of free wi-fi.
Bike Storage Breakfast Location
Interesting building & well-located for local historical sites.Convenient parking. Friendly & helpful staff. YHA café good value for money and staff happy to provide vegetarian option for breakfast and evening meals. Accommodation basic yet clean and cheap but.......
very poor ventilation in bedroom: unpleasantly stuffy and a sense of previous occupants footwear! Shared shower had very poor temperature control: either cold or dangerously scalding hot ( beware unsupervised children!) - not acceptable in this day and age!
your staff are fantastic, extremely helpful, resourceful and operate to a high standard.
was super hot weather so hard to cool rooms
We are a family of 6 and stayed in a 6 room. We loved it. A historical building and right next to a row of fantastic historical buildings on the route to the Iron gorge Bridge.Great car park, good cafe. We were lucky as stayed on a Saturday night so it was BBQ night. Comfortable, clean room and bathrooms. We hope to go back again one day. It has inspired us to do more hosteling!.
- Kitchen facilities - Great breakfast - Location and building are fantastic - beatiful walk to Ironbridge - Large parking
- Quite a long walk in the building to our room
Great location and value for money. Having never stayed in one before the facilities were better than we had expected for a youth hostel. The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you.
Lounge area of the building was very warm but weather didn't help. Window restrictors limit how far they open for H&S.
brill to stay there

Lovely clean room with loads of space. Beautiful location.kitchen and games room were gr8
There was a horrid blocked drain smell eminating from the bathroom. No soap in dispensers. And loads of stairs to the room. Also v . inconsiderate family allowed kids to run up n down corridor outside room till quite late. When I mentioned on check out was told "I should be grateful it wasn't a hen/stag do"....

The scenery was magnificent
We were really pleased with the whole place and decided to join because we would be prepared to stay in other YHA accommodation.
We were in room 9. It was a bit small for two largish people with two bags. It was a bit of a maze to get to our room especially when carrying suitcases.
The room was great with 6 friends and very spacious ! Very clean and comfortable :)
No signal but there is wifi
Good for large groups
A few more showers would be good
Beautiful location Friendly and helpful staff Excellent value breakfast Clean, comfortable budget accommodation
Excellent place to stay fantastic views. Good evening meal . Picturesque walk to the iron bridge
The location of the hostel allowed us to walk with the children to Ironbridge and then onto Blists Hill Victorian Village. The food at the hostel itself was excellent and we were able to enjoy a relaxing evening while the children had a great time in the games room and exploring the hostel.
loved the activities put on by Yvonne and Julie. They were great with the adults and children. Loved the dinners that were not on the activity nights. The fact that you had new board games.
The meals on the activities nights. They were not very nutritious.
