Clean and well located at the back of the town up the hill a little. Also they serve food and drink at reasonable price (food to 8.30 I think). Breakfast was very good value - I had a very good vegetrarian breakfast for about £4.

A little difficult to operate the secure door key after closing but nothing major.

Breakfast was very tasty and filling (not included but only £5 extra)

Room was a little cramped. The building could have done with a lick of paint, inside and out.

    Kitchen, lounge and the view

Beds were too hard and thin for me, mattress was stained and I thought I had booked a dorm for just the 2 of us but ended up with 4 others, 2 of which snored so had little sleep. Not what you want before climbing Snowdon for the first time.

Very friendly and helpful staff and phenomenal location!

The walls are very thin and it is very noisy at night. I had to wear headphones in order to block out the noises of water system and people talking (you really can hear the whole conversation!).

Really friendly staff- clean rooms and bathrooms- amazing self catering kitchen.

No wifi- internet in village was constantly out of service- it made planning hikes tricky.

Smell of damp generally and smell of deep fat fryers was overwhelming in the reception area. The place looked as though little up keep had been spent for many years.

    Cleanliness, proximity to town.

Door code changed daily. Hard to remember where you put little bit of paper after a few pints.
