Cleanliness Comfortable beds Plug sockets provided En suite
Room was quite hot at night
The friendliness and assistance of the YHA staff and good music in the reception area. Has a homely atmosphere.
The location I pretty well placed, though it is still a few blocks away from the bustle of the West End and Piccadilly Circus. Food available for purchase was pretty good too, though a little over priced comparing to just going for a short walk and buying it else where, but I guess you're also buying convenience.
It seems to be the luck of the draw when it comes to clean beds . Initially for the first few nights I was stuck with the top bunk in a female only room where I had no major problems. Though I am very uncomfortable on top bunks usually, so after a few nights, I requested to move to a newly freed up bottom bunk bed within the same room, where I was much more comfortable. Unfortunately, next morning I awoke with many bites from what seemed like bed bugs. I did not have the same problem with the initial top bunk bed. I was not happy at all to say the least. Keeping in mind that this was also new sheets. Also the room I was allocated was in the lower ground floor, though the room did have airconditioning, the windows were unable to be opened to a sufficient width, so both fresh air and light seemed to have difficulty entering and so if the AC was not kept on at reasonably cool temperature the room would start to smell musty.
I loved the location, the place, the cleanness and the staff.
My room mates where very noise and dirty. One of them always woke up at 5 (too early).
Location, very friendly and helpful staff.
Small bathroom and shower
- Friendly and helpful staff; - Good breakfast for fair price; - Very good location (more in the center impossible) but not noisy; - Pleasant atmosphere.
No wifi in the rooms, but not a big problem; Shower would sometimes overflow.
Outside the room, in the opening area.
Too many people in a room, a bad smell from the shoes.
Location is perfect, staff always friendly and helpful, a good bargain- will book next time here again!
Was hard to keep the bathroom clean (water everywhere because of the "open" shower), roadworks nearby from early in the morning
Ideal location, excellent staff and good services.
If your room faces to the main street it could be a little be noisy. Towers were old.
Excellent location. Nice staff. Good atmosphere. Convenient kitchen facilities. Clean.
Shower heads probably need replacing. Have to pay for wifi.
Most facilities especially the common kitchen avail for use. It's funtastic.
At certain moments , a bit hot in temperature in the rooms.
Clean Helpful staff 24 hour cafe/restaurant Central London
It is pretty close to Soho, Trafalgar Square and Oxford Street. If you are looking for a cheap staying in the centre of London this is the place.
A man came in the dorm without knocking in order to check the restroom. The "locker room" is terrible, don't even try to get in there, and I was actually expecting to have a personal locker with the keys, since this is happening even in the worst hostels around Europe, but not here. I do not know what the staff is actually doing: there are 4-5 people doing the job the probably could be done by 1 or 2 in busy periods.
Personal very familiar with the area and helpful in arranging trips and booking tours. Large offer of activities at the Hostel. Wlan ONLY in main area and in lower level - is good because it brings everyone together - increases probability of interaction with fellow travellers.
Constant slamming of doors (from other guests) on our floor during the second stay. Is not the fault of hostel.
Personal were VERY helpful with tips. Are very familiar with the area. Main group area is very inviting and is easy to meet other travellers.
The others on our floor were constantly banging the doors at night - can happen - is not the fault of the Hostel.
Central of London, close to Oxford Street and British Museum despite long walking distance.Staff is helpful and friendly. Manage to reserve a lower deck bed for me as per my request, room with one small fan I like it, not sure whether is arranged for me :)
The hostel very hard to locate, hidden in somewhere do not have clear direction how to get there. No free Wifi. British Museum and Oxford Street is within walking distance but still a bit far.
Outstanding location... Very helpful staff especially Tamer and Remi... Nothing can describe how much they are professional , energetic... tamer was helping each and every traveler reaching his destination:)... Many thanks remi and tamer
Constructions were taking place in the hostel the time i was there... The room is small for taking 6 persons in one time
the location is really good, pretty close to everything in the city
the stuff (especially the females) were really unfriendly and not helpful at all; each day I payed a different price for my coffee, breakfast, towles, locks etc. are not included and rediculously expensive, dorms are really small, the last night we had a cockroach in our room..., showers and toilets are too small and there is in fact no bathroom
clean and comfortable bed, clean toilet and shower room. location is great ... really easy to get any other places by underground or bus!
Location, through it is not very close to tube station (about 10 minutes walk), but very good area, and close to main attractions.
Not easy to find when first arrive, and Wifi is only free Wifi members
Hotel was conveniently located, and clean. Staffs were very kind and friendly.
I was disappointed that Wi-Fi was charged.
The breakfast was good for 5 pounds. We thought the beds were the most comfortable out of the four hostels we stayed in. We showed up late and the staff made it easy to get into our room. Our first day's walk started at Oxford Circus, so the location was a great starting point. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful.
There was construction outside our room, but that's more of London's fault. Also, there was no wifi in our room.
They've a good staff Near from a subway station Comfortable rooms
They don't have free wifi, you need pay for use the internet. You have to pay for the breakfast and it's expensive.
