The geese outside yappin away at seven in the morning
I was so impressed with the quality of the hostel. The rooms were spacious, clean and great value for money. I will definitely stay there again.
The staff is very friendly and helpful and the beds are quite comfortable.
The bathroom was a kind of plastic box in the corner of the dorm, badly isolated, thus very noise at night.
Comfort Quality Bar Staff Ease Price
Card-key for every bedroom Room-locked for luggage Clean and safety Staff very available
Free WiFi pretty slow
No wifi upstairs Really bad location Not recommend!
wifi can be at room.
dont have wifi at room.
Location . Flexibile eating provision.
heating - toohot and stuffy in the room
Everything...new state of the art hostel..purpose built...I only stayed one night, next time i will stay longer.... The breakfast was very good value for money...
I cant criticise anything that i can think off, only stayed one night
Room was as expected, clean neat and tidy, friendly staff
Communal kitchen as it was very dirty, countertops and fridge were awful. Location is not in the centre took a taxi or bus everytime to get to the central areas
I was traveling with a group of family with five members, and we booked a room that have five beds in it which is clean, quiet and comfortable. The location is good and the price is really cost effective.
The toilet in the room is not clean, the rubbish bin is full and disgusting. There is no wifi signal in the room which is not convinent.
Location, staff, ambience
We had booked a triple room. The receipt stated we had "3 beds". It was actually a double bed and a single bed. When we questioned this we were told it was clear on the booking photo the type of room we had booked. It was certainly not a room with three beds. I have never heard anyone say that a double bed is actually two beds. They need to make this clearer.
Stayed here mid-December with a 3 friends,in a private room. The room was big, very warm and clean, beds comfortable, bathroom clean and much bigger than i expected. The view from our room was great! Stuff very nice and always willing to help. The other areas of the hostel (lounge, kitchen, etc) also very good.
It was clean, nice location and the common areas. The staff was quite friendly as well. The breakfast (5 pounds) was good.
The check out is quite early, at 10 and if you want to leave your luggage after the check out they charge you 2 pounds per luggage. Moreover, you are supposed to pay 2 pounds every time you open a locker. It's a nonsense..
The entire hostel itself!
The lounge is very large with many chairs and tea tables. The room is spacious with bathroom inside. The environment is clean.
The television, I have stayed at this hostel lot's of time's, and every time the T.V. has been breaking up into pixel's making it impossible to watch.
Me and a group of friends stayed over hear for new year eve, when we arrived it was a very quite check in and even so the lady was very helpful And booked us a black cab when we was wanting to go into town (the print works). The room was very clean and had a nice little toilet with a shower. The beds weren't soft they was very firm, very good if you had a bad back. When we came back after over night out they made fresh pizzas into the early hours and there was always someone on the desk, you need a key card to access the building from a certain time, so security was excellent as they have lots of cams outside and in, plus some doors in the building needed the keycard to get though. Would highly recommend as i am in the hospitality business and I am really picky on places of stay and don't the the name hiatal but it was more of a hotel but for the price and the quality I will be staying again very soon. Very handy for students on a night out or a group of friends!!!
Efficient staff. Clean and ideal bedroom size with bathroom.
Difficult to locate hostel. Far from city and transport facility. Poor wifi connection in room.
Cold & impersonal. Not at all as expected. Would have liked a public lounge area, rather than stiff small tables.
A good hostel. And location!
Not allowed to leave luggage in a room at the back of the counter for my final day in Manchester. I'm not going to pay £3 to put my bags in that locker!
Its building and room, but not the tiny and weird toilet flush
The toilet flush
The location is good and the price as well.
Very noisy and staff did nothing to stop people from making noise late at night. We could not seep well. On our first night some people were celebrating Manchester United win and knowking on walls all night. If you are looking for good sleep , don't go there.
There is free city shuttle stop nearby. Better make sure of it
