Superb location and great faciilties. Room was very clean as was the kitchen and communal areas.
all staff very friendly, a home from home
A stunning location with beautiful views. So peaceful the whole family slept late the next morning Lovely staff Extremely well equipped kitchen
Didnt like the disused firing range will be glad when thats gone Didnt like the smell of moths balls in the bedrooms
Both the hostel and the location.
It was a perfect stay.
So close to the beach. Cheap price. Able to self cater in well equipt clean kitchen. Bath in en suite.
Was a strange drive in past the military fence but lovely view when you get there.
The kitchen is excellent
Shower could be warmer
We had a no frills room but with an en suite bathroom. We had to put sheets on our bed but excellent value in fabulous site. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Food on offer was rather boring and the bunk beds were rather hard but generally good
It's in a beautiful location (but be prepared to spend 15 pounds on a cab from Tenby, almost a night's stay!). The staff and volunteers were great, and it's a nice, laid-back place with glorious surroundings (and a private beach). Very clean, very cozy. Unique architecture.
Also fairly remote; best for those with a car. The bed was so squeaky, I was afraid of waking bunkmates if I moved at all in my sleep. The breakfast wasn't great at 5 pounds; I didn't fancy anything but the eggs and a bit of mushrooms and was afforded a tiny portion of each regardless. Otherwise, fine. Great for the price.
Lovely hostel with excellent facilities!
The weather :)
Excellent spot Good reception staff
At 90 quid for 3 without private bathroom or breakie and having to make your own bed makes it poor service for the money
Lovely location and considering the weather was amazing and the kids had broken up from school - it was really quiet.
Not a negative, but if you decide to tackle the coastal path towards Lydstep, be aware that a certain level of fitness is necessary as the gradients are quite extreme at times.
Staff were very helpful in that they were flexible in regards to the 5pm-10.30pm check-in times. They left me the code for the front door along with the room key on reception so I could check myself in early and make it to a wedding just down the road.
This was an ideal place for us to stay overnight as it is on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, along which we were walking
A lack of comfortable seating as only 2 x 2 seater sofas available
possibility of a private room ensuite. very friendly and helpful staff, fantastic breakfast and good evening meal if didn't want to cook, small kitchen/diner/tv if you did as well as the main kitchen.
shops for food not nearby.
The location was great as was the view.
The breakfast was average
Very clean, bathroom clean, have kitchen where you can prepare your own food(plates all provided etc). Remember to bring your own shampoo and bath cream as it's not provided but there is a soap dispenser.
