We were arrived late in the evening and received a very warm welcome. We had a call whilst on route to check what time we were arriving, this was quite reassuring since we were arriving late with 3 young children. The family quad room was amply big enough with 2 bunk beds and enough floor space for a baby travel cot. The shower rooms and toilets were tidy and clean.

Although it was not a problem for us since we were the first up and leaving early but there could be bit of a wait for the showers due to the small number.

The room was very basic, clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind, friendly and helpful! It had a full kitchen to use. That was very helpful for a family of 5! The toilet and bath facilities were very clean! The price was good for a family stay!

Nothing to dislike! I would definitely stay there again with my family!

Liked the price Liked the location liked the convenience liked the facilities (you could cook your own food)

The beds were uncomfortable. The walls were thin and other travellers made so much noise it kept us awake.

The hostel was welcoming and well kept, in a beautiful green location.

The self catering kitchen was rather small - but plenty of space in dining areas.

V Good location, Clean , helpful staff, easy parking.

The bunk beds are wooden and creak a lot, the ladder to the upper bunk has narrow steps that really dig into ones feet, the mattresses were very poor and very uncomfortable. Poor ventalation throughout, as you need to close and lock all windows when out in the day as they can be readily accessed from the outside, the rooms are like ovens in the summer when you come in , we had a big window, but still took hours to cool the room, most of other rooms have much smaller windows and must be much worse. Quite a few biting Mosquitoes in the warm months and with the windows open one is at their mercy through the night.

We really have had an excellent journey at YHA Medway! The place is calm and beautiful, the staff is really nice and arranging (we arrived after the closing hour) and the value for money is excellent! I will keep the address and share it with my friends!

Relative close to the Lydden Hill circuit, not that more expensive than their camping on site.

The noise is very present (banging doors, rumble, conversations, walking on the hallway), which makes your night very uncomfortable, hence my poor rating in this area.

The location is very pretty and the surrounding areas, including Capstone Park across the road, is really handy for walks and cycling. The hostel is clean, pretty peaceful, shared kitchen facilities are large and there's lots of room. You can take your own food and drinks and keep them in the fridge. Snacks and alcoholic beverages are available to buy and there are outside seats as well as a communal relaxing area with sofa's etc. It felt quite modern and bright inside, sheets and covers were new, crisp and clean. Bathrooms were clean and there was lots of space to get showered and dry. Really excellent value and lots of families were staying here when we visited so it's child friendly!

No WiFi really lets it down!

The price was good and the location is pretty, with good walks nearby.

Bed was not comfortable, lumpy and old mattress. Quite noisy with thin walls. No wi fi is a real issue these days.

Good location, opposite a lovely park, near a shopping centre and good access to the motorway.

The man at reception was rude, I told him how I felt about this and his reply was again unpleasant. For this reason I shall not be staying here again.
