although near the train station we stayed in room 117 and didn't hear the trains at all.friendly staff,warm welcome,great location,clean with great facilities.

Staff were helpful & facilities were clean & new. It was near to where I was travelling (The Thames Path).

The food wasnt brilliant - salad I had with Lasange was horrid - lots of dirty leaves with 'old edges' to them - my friend's salad was the same, neither of us could eat it. Shame about the train..........!

The station car park next door does not allow overnight parking. This would have been the icing on the cake!

When spending the night in a hostel, in a room with 5 other persons you've never met, you're always a bit weary about whom is going to end up in the same room as you. But here everyone was absolutely lovely.

Quite expensive Wifi. Bathroom's smelt a bit musty. Couldn't bring alcohol on site.

I actually didn't think it was great value for money- sure, it's cheap, but it doesn't include anything either. I would have expected to pay a lot less for a place where I need to strip my bed, rent a towel, share a bathroom with other rooms, and bring my own shampoo/hair dryer/etc. Also- it looks over the train station, which some would probably consider a great location... but be prepared to hear the standard security announcements and train times broadcast non-stop.

This is actually a very nice space for the price, well managed, clean rooms and very close to central Oxford.

The yha now insist on photo id when you come to stay. Although this was on the booking slip you sent, it was in tiny writing and easy to overlook (I mean, who actually sits reading the small print on these things?). Hence I found myself having to argue late at night for the place I'd already booked because I didn't have photo id. They sensibly let me in in the end, but I think both yha and Booking.com should make this a bit more prominent: it's far from an obvious requirement for people who aren't frequent hostel users, and I would have been completely stuck had they refused me a bed on this technicality.

I really liked the cleanliness of the space and the way everything is disposed.

The night staff was not very friendly, and the internet had a real high cost.

A spacious quadruple room with a spacious en-suite toilet, less than 5 minutes walk to the railway station. The price is lovely, only 89 pounds!

The shower drain got stuck and we could only use the shared shower rooms. Moreover, the shower facilities was not user-friendly. It is so difficult to have hot water out from the shower head.

Well equipped kitchen and good cafe. Comfortable and varied seating areas. Twin room available. Locked luggage room. 24hr opening. Clean and well-decorated.

Kitchen narrow so difficult to move around when full. More downstairs loos would be good. Was there a lift?

the location is excelent

the website said there was on street parking. in fact it was a park and ride 1/2 mile away. The bathroom stank.

Convenient location,clean bed and nice staff.I could check in early to put my luggage in the locker room to keep it safe.

The heater inside the room is not warm enough,the shower room is quite small.I have to pay for using WiFi and breakfast which let me think the price is unreasonable.

Too much noise late at night (midnight to 0100) from returning French staff of big pupil group. Room not very warm at night. This was around Easter , the coldest of the last century, and there was no internal room heating !
