The location is unbelievable, with lovely views over the conwy valley. The staff were friendly and helpful, and their was a generally friendly atmosphere

The location may be lovely, but it is also remote and possibly not for everyone, you definitely need a car

    Pretty location, helpful staff.

Accomodation wasn't very pleasant, smelt and pretty run down.

The volunteer wardens Deborah and Yim were wonderful, as so too was the location.

The room was described as being a twin with 2 single beds. In reality that meant bunk beds which was not as depicted in the reservation photo.

The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The other guests were also friendly and we enjoyed spending time with them. The situation of the hostel was absolutely amazing, and the views breathtaking.

We were warned about the steep hill leading to the hostel, but it was still hair-raising, especially after rain. We borrowed a car and I was worried it might need a new set of tyres after all the wheel spinning! The only other thing that I wondered about is why the hostel was closed to guests between 10am and 5pm. It is quite a long time to be away.
