Location was nice... near the lake. Kitchen had required utensils.

Right next to the Snowdon Ranger path to climb up Snowdon, was a really friendly atmosphere. Pleanty of communal space to relax in, very helpful staff. Options to buy food but also options to self-cater. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements.

Location - a path that goes up to Snowdon starts near.

You have to pay for the parking (even though the hostel states otherwise). They have space for only 6 to 8 cars (and can accommodate much more people). The parking is £4 per day or £2 per evening (half-day). Facilities were not accessible due to overcrowding (good luck using the lounge). Expect to be put in the annex (not shown in the photos) which has MUCH lower quality then the main building. In general the kitchen, dining room, and parking are too small for the number of beds this hostel has.

Location excellent for hiking getaway in the mountains. Breakfast and dinner available, good kitchen facilities for your own cooking.

My teenage son and I wanted to walk the Snowdon Ranger Path and this Hostel was right behind it so ideal for us. It was warm and friendly and the facilities were spot on for the value.

As an adult with a teenager I booked a twin room but we had bunk beds which for an adult and a teenager not really appropriate.

Convenient for the Snowdonia Marathon which we ran

very clean and the beds were comfy.its good because u can make something to eat in a kitchen for everyone to use.nice location with a path to the mountain snowdon!

Perfect location for a weekend trip to go hiking in Snowdonia. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms.

Mad bloke in the kitchen first thing in the morning. The smell of dog on the sofa in the lounge. The grey looking, tasting evening meal and the lad who was absent mindely worrying the spot on his neck that served it. Breakfast bacon that tasted of fish and the sausage that was closer to a loaf of bread than a pig.

Cheap, comfortable beds, warm, washing facilities in good order. All you need when staying in a hostel.

Had an error made when paying, was charged too much. But this was rectified the next day.

Very difficuilt to locate.. Sat Nav took us way off beaten track into and very dangerous situation.. No phone signal to get help.. This could be mentioned when boooking
