The friendly and knowledgeable service from the manager was enthusiastically delivered and was a credit to the organisation.
Excellent value for money £35 for one night for 2 peoples. The location to whom need to relax and walk around is perfect - little small village with character. The Landscape is beautiful around the bridge and from your room too.
Not best location for whom needs to drive to work in the morning. You might be stuck in the traffic. I spent 1 hour to get to winnersh triangle for example (if your drive trough carversham)
The staff was absolutely fantastic. They made me feel like at home!!!
The room was quote cold during the night!
The manager was very welcoming and helpful, everything was clean and orderly. I felt safe and comfortable and would definitely stay there again.
The room I slept in was at the front of the building and the road noise was rather disturbing.
- Goof value for you money - Friendly staff - Free parking with the hostel - Lounge room
- You have to bring your own towel (or buy) - Bunk beds in private 2-person room
Very friendly staff. Nice cosy big sofas in lounge.
Only the fact that there is no reading lights in the older hostels.
Positive attitude of staff, good location; good recommendation of local pub for supper
The staff were really friendly and helpful, very attentive to our needs. It was a nice one night stay. Breakfast was indeed rich and delicious.
Staff were friendly and helpful stayed up when we were late and gave us a map next day
Cramped room shower a dribble noisy room from outside traffic on road expensive
1.Very comfortable lounge with soft sofa and TV, books, games etc, nice palace for resting. 2.Big restaurant and various food options, for breakfast, served tasted traditional UK food-fish chips and toast bread, apple jam, grape jam, cereal, cornmeal, milk, tea, fruit, yogurt...you name it. 3.Clean drinkable water everywhere, small shower, thick carpet, soft mattress.
1.the room, second floor on the left has a little odor, other room doesn't. 2.It would be more than better if the price of the breakfast and dinner could be lower a bit.
Kitchen with everything including "free stuff", that we could use freely. Nice, friendly people. Room for six. Paper towels in the toilet.
Towels not included (and a bit expensive - and senseless - to buy) Bad room ventilation. Small parking. Few toilets.
Decent shed to leave the bikes. Friendly, efficient staff. Roomy, comfortable accommodation. Plenty of nutritious food.
Lovely hostel with a great manager. Very polite and friendly and excellent service. Lovely clean and tidy place and the dining area and breakfast was first class. Definitely stay here again excellent. Thanks.
Lovely staff - very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast.
Nothing to complain about.
Friendly staff, great location
Showers without pressure and regulation of temperature, I found small spiders in the duvette
Wasn't keen on the breakfast I had when I stayed once before.
+ very friendly and helpful + very rich breakfast + very nice place
Nice and relaxed
Nick the manager was very friendly and helpful. There was a bit of a blip when there was no one present to check me in at the pre-agreed time, but once I'd got hold of Nick he rectified the problem straight away and I couldn't have asked for better service.
Staff not present at pre-arranged check in time
Helpful welcoming staff Lovely location Great food
Only small gripe is the fluctuating water pressure so shower was a bit hit and miss.
As walkers, we loved arriving at YHA Streatley to find it warm, comfortable, and the staff efficient and friendly. After walking for hours in heavy rain, we really appreciated the drying room where we were able to dry out all our gear over night.
The common room didn't smell great. It was clean and comfortable but the upholstery had a residual smell.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.they made us very welcome.
the facilities were good although he hotel The hostel needed a little freshening up but I suppose here is a shortage of funds to do this
