All of it
Mattress very bad & room soooo small &bath
Central location, proximity to Earls Court Station which has lift access and is on the Picadilly line to and fro Heathrow. Also the hotel is a short walk from the station. There's a huge 24 hour Tesco a few minutes away
I was put in a basement room so wifi service was erratic at best and totally non functional at other times. Also the room was dirty and the bathroom drain was clogged! The utensils in the kitchen were not properly washed.
One of the receptionists was kind and lent us a socket adapter.
The rooms was so tiny we could hardly do anything in it, one of us had to lie on the bed so the other one could move. We asked for cleaning but only the rubbish bin was emptied. There was nor table nor chair in the room. The last day we left our luggage in the laundry, we were told that if we pick it up until 15.00 it is for free however at 14.40 the receptionist insisted on paying 10£ each!
Clean beds and bathroom. Close to underground.
Equipped kitchenette but no washing up liquid, cloth,or tea towel which we asked for 4days. Grubby carpets and the one chair.
The location quite near the subway
The heating was not working , I was asking them to fixe it everyday , but They didn't . The room suppose to be a single studio flat, but was less than a normal room, everything inside was old and patched . Curtains and linens had many holes...
It was nothing like the picture on the website. I was offered a tiny room right by the tube with only one light switch by the door, no where near the bed! I asked to move. i was then offered a room right by the neighbouring hotel's front door, ground floor, and next to the staff toilet. It may be cheap but it's not worth the saving.
Location to Earls Court exhibition centre
Carpets stained, plug sockets broken and not covered, shower room tiny, toilet unit not secure, staff unhelpful.
Clean room, good kitchen and helpful staff
kitchen facilities helpful staff comfortable bed close to tube station
mould on ceiling above shower fridge door loose (fixed)
Close proximity to Earl's Court Tube station, 5 minute walk to full grocery store and 5 minute walk to 3 nice local publs
The rooms were musty and mouldy, toilette was not fixed to the floor, internet was low quality and intermitent, had to ask twice for things like soap and toilet paper. Looks like bed was never cleaned under. Fridge never defrosted, could not make ice. To move from bedroom to bathroom along corridor you had to turn sideways. Peeling paint in the shower, missing light bulbs, dangerous steps leading to basement apartment. Would not let me see the room until I paid in advance, after a 10 hour flight I had no energy to look elsewhere. Very disappointed. Smokers outside front door caused smoke to come into my room.
The value is good if you're aware the space is limited and the installations are a little dated. The bed is comfortable, the fridge and kitchenette well kept. The bus and tube stations nearby are very convenient for travel around London and the nearby Tesco is excellent for getting ones food.
A charge is made of £61 that was guaranteed to be refunded and has not been for the past month. The wifi is very limited in it's range and my room was not within reach of the routers.
The room was very small that I didn't have enough space for my suitcase. There were no hangers in the toilets on the door or the wall. You can feel the air coming through the window, which annoying at night.
The location and the price paid were probably the only positives I can say. Having looked at the pictures posted I had high expectations. I don't know how I omitted reading the reviews like I usually do or I would've found elsewhere. In dire need of updating and maintenance. At one point it would have been acceptable, but that must have been when this place first opened. A clean bed was the only part I was thankful for. This place has plenty of potential if only the owners put some effort into making it look as good as it potentially can be. Very disappointed when I walked through the door.
Absolutely nothing like that described in the main advert/description. Tired furniture and general disrepair and neglect to the room. Basic 'kitchen'. Found out too late the toilet didn't flush (cistern kept jamming and wouldn't refill - manually fixed). Mediocre shower. Stained and very dirty carpet. Very cold at night with a window which could not be closed and thermostat/radiator not working. Whilst it is habitable it is severely below the expected standard and that which was advertised.
Location is pretty good
No control over the heating of the room. Kitchenette smelt damp as soon as the door opened. Window wasn't secure. Bed ended up with fluff on every time housekeeping had been. Free WiFi had poor signal and limit on usage.
Amazing price and location but
Really sub standard, student type living. Not for business travellers
Likes quiet close to the underground way better than a hostel close to supermarket
Wifi wasn't that great cleaning staff not on time switches and plugs didnt work Have to beg for, towels and, soap
Terrible staff, microscopic dirty rooms, non-existent wi-fi connection, quite overpriced rates, photos on website do not match the actual rooms.
Location. Quietness of the place.
Living area cramped. Could not move around without hurting myself on the edges of the Bed. Cooking space inadequate. Certainly, not money's worth.
The location was on a beautiful tree-lined street. It was an easy walk to the underground and local neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helpful!
Rooms are incredibly small. I'm a very petite person and it was difficult to maneuver around such tight quarters! The bathroom took quite a deal of effort to access...had to get in sideways! My boyfriend who is of course larger, became quite the contortionist maneuvering the space.
1) Nice area, with easy access to tube station within walking distance. 2) Lovely modern bathroom; very small, with a shower that takes some playing around with to figure out but a very attractive design for such a small space. 3) Good quality smart TV. 4) Kitchennette was basic but had a full sized fridge which was nice. No washing up liquid or cloths to wash dishes though. 5) French doors onto the balcony terrace was nice. Good to have option for outside space.
1) There were black damp patches all over the bed/duvet. I actually took photos I was so disgusted and horrified. 2) There was no way to buzz for attention when I arrived and no one on reception. My phone battery was low so I was worried the call might not make it to get the attention of staff. Fortunately it did. 3) BedBugs!!!!! I didn't sleep a wink in the damp, hard bed with super thin duvet and no cover sheet, because I was itching like crazy. I've never stayed in a bed with bedbugs and now I know what it's like. I had red blotches over my feet legs and lower back. Makes me itch now just thinking about it. I literally got 0 hours sleep. 4) The carpet was cheap and looked dirty/scruffy and out of touch with the modern look they tried to achieve. It also didn't fit the floor so they cut a large square out and and stuck over some other carpet. Looked ridiculous. 5) Room smelled of damp as soon as I walked in. I was so disappointed; seemed like an affordable option for staying over in Earls court. Had potential to be so much more. Clearly, cutting costs is more important than hygiene and quality of stay for the owners. I will not stay again or recommend this place.
The location was perfect, good wi-fi access (free), helpful staff.
The studio was very badly fitted out, not a shelf in either the bathroom or room, every piece of furniture was shaky and unstable, the "kitchenette" had no room to cook anything, a wobbly pan, no saucepan, no dish clothes, cheap cutlery, in fact most items looked as though they were recovered from a skip!
A good location and very close to earls court underground.
Nothing like the photos on the website at all. Very small unkept room, dark, fridge/freezer door hanging off, the shower leaked, folding bathroom door had a very visible gap down the middle, 2 plug sockets hiding behind the wardrobe (which looked like it could collapse at any moment, oh and didn't have any doors either!). When reported to the reception desk they didn't seem very bothered at all. Good location, extremely poor for everything else.
The front desk was friendly and the bathrooms are clean and new.
I ran out of toilet paper twice even after the maid "cleaned the room",which they hardly do. My bed was never made except once and my trash not always emptied. And they never gave me TP. I also got bed bug bites on my body and face. I thought I was having an allergic reaction while I was there. When I got home, I was told they were definitely bed bug bites. And the WiFi does not work in the basement, so I could only check my phone if I was right by the desk.
