Lovely large bedroom - comfortable, very clean and well-equipped. Owner friendly and helpful - he carried our case up to our bedroom - you don't always get that. Breakfast was very good. Our only fault was that the shower was not very powerful - but a minor concern in relation to all the good points.

The roome were very large, well furnished and very clean. The host was vert friendly and extremely helpful. Each room did have a sink and micro wave if you needed/wanted to have a snack in your room. The hotel is just a few hundred yards from the seaside.

We were greeted my the hotel owner who was great. He rushed out to take our bags from us, welcomed us and then made us a cup of coffee which was needed after our long drive. The room was lovely and clean as the rest of the hotel was and nothing seemed too much trouble. The room itself was huge and lovely and we were sorry that we were travelling on the next day. The manager took us on a tour of the other rooms as we had mentioned coming back, they were again lovely with more than ample room. Lovely hotel, great staff, well worth a visit.

A very smart hotel with very friendly staff. The room was spacious and very well appointed. The breakfast selection and content was excellent and in terms of value for money I think it is one of the best hotels we have stayed in.We will definitely be coming back to stay here again. The one draw back is the lack of parking.(There are parking spaces for approx. Half of the rooms) That said however, there is parking 50 metres from the hotel and the parking restrictions do not come into force until 9.00 am and even then it is only 50p per hour. That said, we did manage to get a parking place and would not be put off from staying here again had we not.

Our stay at York House Hotel was excellent. When I made the booking I realised that check in wasn't until 4pm, but I emailed them and requested access to our room earlier because we were attending an afternoon family party. Michael replied that we could get into our room at 2pm which was perfect. The care from the staff was excellent and the room was brilliant, with even a fridge and microwave and separate kitchen sink. The only thing to watch was that the bathroom sink had taps the wrong way round ie hot tap was on the left rather than the right, which did cause me some confusion. The breakfast was excellent - my husband had his beloved porridge!

The hospitality is fantastic the breakfast is perfect great choice. Only thing that we were dissapointed with is that we lime a dark room but the beautiful room we were in was so bright due to the lights outside the hotel. Apart from that both times that we have stayed service and comfort fantastic .

We were very impressed with the Hotel. The room was lovely, comfortable, spotlessly clean and quiet, which is sometimes not the case in other hotels. The meals and the service were excellent. The hotel does not have a great deal of parking space but the owner made every effort to make sure we could park safely and securely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly book again.

The owner was very helpful and friendly, the room was very clean and had facilities above and beyond what I expected to find. It was quiet, the breakfast was good and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Only its location, there is pleanty of on street parking or hotel parking down a back alley. I tend to worry about my car geting broken into in such places. CCTV covering the back of the hotel would have been a nice security feature.

A fantastic hotel. The staff were so pleasant. Nothing was of any bother to them at all. Beautiful room which could be best described as a suite rather than just a double room. Settee and chairs to sit on in the room. Fridge and microwave available, also sink to was crockery etc. Coffee and tea available in your room. Beautiful breakfast including full english if required. Would highly reccommend and will definately go back.
