We were very pleased with our room, it had a lovely view. It was compact and clean and had everything that we needed. It is very close to the centre and was a nice walk in. If I am honest I prefer a bath to a shower. |

The presentation and cleanliness of our room and the facilities in general. Staff were very friendly. The drinks in the hotel bar were not good quality and the cost of the food eg. breakfast at #27.00 was far too much. |

The comfort, cleanliness and general quality of the room was exceptional - special mention must be given to the quality of the bed/mattress. The time off breakfast (9:30 last serving) is a litle early for those (like myself) who came for a leisurely break rather than business. |

good location, nice sized room - very clean. Breakfast at £13.50 and car parking at £12 per night are excessive |

*All staff are very kind. The location of the Hotel is Excellent: in the heart of the historic city of York, close to all city attractions and just a couple of minutes from the York train station. Our room is not ideal for relaxing sleep on the weekend (314).So many teenagers on the street on Saturday night were very noise. |

Failure to provide accurate details about parking on the website or over the telephone. Failure to inform me that parking reservations could not be made, or where alternative parking facilities were available. |

room overlooked the river. It was fairly arge and airy and everthing looked clean The bathroom is a bit of a tight fit as the opening area of the door takes up most of the bathroom. The complimentary shower gels, biscuits and coffee were not replaced. Food in the restaurant needed to be hotter. |
