the breakfast buffet was cold.iwent for breakfast at8.00am.i would not book for breakfast again.

Location, cleanliness and friendly staff.

Welcoming staff, good sized room and very clean

Menu for bar - on arrival (Saturday lunchtime) just wanted a simple sandwich and drink. The grill bar menu focusses on 'meals' rather than 'snacks' - even the sandwiches on offer included chips/side salad etc. A simple sandwich/snack menu would be appealing for lunchtime.

I thought the hotel was spot on apart from no parking available which then incurred extra costs. We had a lovely stay and would consider the hotel again. We enjoyed york as always Thanks to the freindly staff at the hotel. Regards neil swift

No available parking. Too many stag and hen parties in the city at weekends. Getting like blackpool !!!!

Staff were very helpful indeed

My room was extremely narrow. No cupboard space. Tv broke down. Explained problem to reception but only got information I already knew.

There was no wardrobe to hang clothes, no drawers to put underwear or tops in. The room was not very comfortable for anything other than a one night stay.

No full length mirror in the room. Two holes in the wall where it used to be! Carpet rather stained. No drawer space

Being woken up at 1-15am due false fire alarm alert. Dining/breakfast area looking very tired & extremely cramped. Breakfast food only average, plates cold.

Staff friendly. Breakfasts were very good, but not as good ad the Radisson in Bristol where we stayed last year. Location was fine. Easy access to all of York.

First evening meal was not any great shakes. Add breakfast and parking into the equation, the deal is not as good as it initially sounds. Parking charge was not posted on the site until the deal had been done, which is bit naughty. Not enough room for clothes to be stored.

Reasonable quality of room and decor

Not easy to find - better directions required - map on internet very poor. Also eating at the hotel in the evening is very poor - high seats in the bar etc. I, and a number of others, ate elsrwhere. Was in room 428 - not made clear how to find lift at rear of hotel to get there

The Park Inn is within easy walking from the station and railway museum. It is ideally situated for getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city after sightseeing.Being by the river there is always something to see either from the hotel or relaxing on a seat by the river. We also liked being close to some beatuful parks.

There has been a lot of upgrading to the hotel since our last visit a number of years ago but the breakfast restaurant has not changed and is looking distinctly tired, although the food is excellent.

Staff generally friendly and professional. Relaxing view over river from the bar. Very central location,close to railway station.

No gripes really. Room not the largest,but perfectly satisfactory.

The staff were very attentive, the room was perfect. I have never slept as well in a hotel before. The bed was so comfortable. No complaints at all. The bathroom immaculate. Also breakfast was great. A wonderful selection. Will definitely be going back!!!! Loved it!!!!!! Thank you.

1 night wasn't long enough.

the location of the hotel is excellent close to all the shops, bars and restaurant. We stayed in a double room which was perfect, the room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, the staff were helpful, and the breakfast was very good.

I also booked a single room for a friend, which unfortunately wasnt as clean, didnt have a kettle and was very small, had we known it would have been worth spending the extra on a twin room for single use.

I liked the Hotel and the staff who were very nice and efficient and really enjoyed my stay.

I cant say there was anything I didn't like.
