Yotel Gatwick Airport

Everything. You do not have tea and coffee making facilities but you can go to reception and it is provided for free!!!

It is obviously for people with early morning flights, or jet lag/weariness on return. Clean, great facilities, comfy beds, bar and hot drinks, toothbrushes etc. Very quiet.

The convenience of the location as it it in Arrivals. Also, the food that is available is great. Shower gel smells amazing

I did start to get cabin fever when I woke up. We had the biggest available room and after having no natural light coming in and being in there for a whole, I was itching to get out

I always like the location, good water pressure, clean good linen, free wifi.

I've been staying here for years and I think tech wise it could be updated. Internet tv would be good as the satellite signal was appalling and unwatchable. The wireless was also a bit dodgy.

Hot, very hot. Climate control did not work.

Prices for food and drink was rather dear.

Decor beginning to look a bit 'jaded'

My inner geek rejoiced when I entered the yotel facilities at Gatwick airport as the whole thing does remind of a spaceship setting. Check-in was easy, the cabin clean and functional with free wifi. The lack of windows and easy to use aircon unit makes for a delightfully dark, quiet and cool sleeping experience, if that's what you are after. I can totally recommend it for a few hours or an overnight stay but it would probably get a bit claustrophobic as main holiday accommodation, especially if you are travelling with somebody. Neat little idea, excellent location, and easy to use. Thanks :)

The yotel at Gatwick airport could do with a couple of signs as to where it is located as it's tucked away in a corner of the arrivals hall. Not really an issue though, would just make finding it a bit easier.

Excellent for an early flight from Gatwick. Amazingly convenient and very comfortable. I shall certainly recommend it.

Perfect location in the hotel for connection flights. Comfy bed and just perfect for few hours sleep.

A little difficult to find it in the airport. I am not much into glass walls between room and toilet.

THe sheer convenience is excellent - the time between landing and being asleep was fabulously short. I will stay again.

The shower sinkhole was not efficient and water flowed into the main cabin- but I'm sure that's not typical because it's really well run. I would have preferred not to haver to sleep with the chemical ultra violet light on - next time I'll bring eye-covers. And does it really have to be THAT tight spacewise - or is that a gimic?

rooms are excellent in general

i was on a 'high bed' and it is not easy to get out of bed in the night should one need to. the step down is small and in the dark and if perhaps a little sleepy it could be dangerous

Located right in Gatwick airport. Ideal for easy instant access re flying. All your basic needs met at once.

Convenience, situated inside airport safe for solo travel, a different experience from the usual hotels.

No hooks for such things as robe or sleepwear etc. No tissues.

Location, clean and comfortable. Friendly staff.

New tv system. The picture was unwatchable all evening on all channels yet out in the concourse there was no problem. It also means you need to ask for an alarm clock, annoying if you've settled in bed before you notice the change and you can't see list of facilities. This spoiled my stay as I arrived early to see a specific programme.

Just too too compact, could not move.

I found the whole experience marvellous. It was so clean, had everything i needed, and when i came out the door I was already in the departures area. i would not hesitate to stay there again eapeciall mwhen travelling on my own
