Conveniently positioned off the A90 (Kingsway), this hotel offers value for money accommodation with easy access to the city centre and local attractions.

These include Discovery Point and RRS Discovery, where you can view Captain Scott's famous Antarctic ship. Spectacular lighting, graphics and special effects recreate key moments in the Discovery story. The restored bridge gives a captain's view over the ship and River Tay.

The recently refurbished Your Hotel offers comfortable en suite rooms, excellent service, great food and a friendly bar.

Accommodation is comprised of double rooms with large king sized beds, twin rooms and suites with a king size double bed and separate area with a double sofa bed. Ground floor rooms are fully equipped for the disabled traveller, including a large easy access shower room.

Each room has an en suite with power shower, direct dial telephone and work desk with lamp.

Glamis Castle (by Forfar) - family home of the Earls of Strathmore and Kinghorne. A royal residence since 1372, it was the childhood home of the Queen Mother, the birthplace of Princess Margaret and the setting for Shakespeare's play Macbeth.

Mills Observatory (Dundee) - the UKs only full-time public observatory. Enjoy spectacular views of the River Tay and the stars and planets through an impressive Victorian telescope.

Scottish Fisheries Museum (Harbour Head, Anstruther) - this award-winning national museum tells the story of the trade and people involved, from the earliest times to the present. There are 10 galleries, 2 large boatyards and a restored fisherman's cottage, which contains period paintings and photographs.

McManus Galleries (Albert Square, Dundee) - a remarkable Gothic building housing one of Scotland's most impressive collections of fine and decorative art. There are also displays on local archaeology, civic and social history, trades and industries, wildlife and the environment.

St Andrews Aquarium (The Scores, St Andrews) - home to shrimps, sharks, eels, octopuses, seals and much more. Special features include the Seahorse Parade and the Sea Mammal Research Unit, which is committed to the care of sea mammals and their environment.

The breakfast was ok

The room was not clean. There was cutlery in the table, spiders on the wall, and the beds were really uncomfortable.

Good breakfast.also liked the seating area at the entrance,very relaxing with a range of newspapers,good!

Restaurant closed at 2000,we arrived at 2010,so no meal,no tea making facilities in room,really difficult to find,not enough pillows,very noisy guests,restaurant looks like a works canteen,and dirty lifts

The breakfast was really good.

I think the rooms and the lobbies need a good lick of paint. Also the room looked tired and the furniture was chipped etc.

lock on room door broken, not fixed until second day of stay.no food available on first night , breakfast service very poor on last day of stay. stated that children under 4 stay free we were charged £5. extra.very noisy throughout the night. all in all very dissappointed with service and hotel.

The hotel staff were very rude in telling that check-in is not possible till 2:00 pm when I turned up a bit early.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very tasty and I had a great night's sleep in a very comfy bed :-)
