It was so durty at all
dirty unconfortable beds rude staff no lounge room small showers no kitchen
Very kind staff and excellent place...
The room was a total nightmare:the bed was not confortable at all!!!!the mattress was cheap quality, and the bathroom is so small that not even one person could fit in it.The staff was unfriendly, cold and rude. We paid 129 pounds and there wasn't even a table or a chair in our room nor even soap(!??!!?). Everything is considered as extra: 3 pounds for a towel, 3 pounds per luggage if you want them to keep it for a while. It's the worst and the more expensive hostel I have been in London.
dirty rude staff unconfortable facilities small showers no kitchen no lounge area
Close to the metro station, 30 minutes from the centrum.
Comfortable bed Good location for central London
I booked for a 6 beds room and got a 10 beds room instead. Not a welcoming sign or good bye. Showers are very tight that you can't move and the water was too hot.
the room is very small, even a hole on the wall. very humid and make me feel stress
Bathroom and toilet were dirty.
some rooms are large than others location is amazing
rude staff bad bathrooms awfull cafeteria breakfast nothing like american breakfast 1 hour wifi per day only
Location and rooms
Not confortable place Bad staff nowhere to chill
Better than I expected after reading the reviews prior to arrival. Bathroom cleaned twice daily. Table and chairs and a sink in the room. Laundry facilities in the building.
No kitchen! Just a microwave and a jug is a real struggle.
big room powerful shower
feet's stink throughout the building bed very uncomfortable old appearence
Cheap Hot shower available at 10:30am
Being thrown out of bed at 4am by some guy trying their luck at getting their friend a bed (reception found me another).
comfortable bed location
transparent curtain, it was not dark enough at night
It's near the underground, about three mintutes walk from earls court station
Room difficult to find and get to, no lifts. Staff unfriendly and not helpful. Lack of facilities, facilities existing are in extremely bad condition.
Availability at the last minute
Squeaky beds very small pillows
The only good thing about this place was the location. Close to earl's court with the Picadilly line to Heathrow and the city centre. This is probably the only good thing about this hostel
When I first entered into the Londonears hostel It felt like I was in a prison and when I got into my room assigned the beds were messy. I could not make out which bed was available. This was probably the 10th hostel in my 1 month trip and it was the worst and most expensive. After going for dinner I came back to a full room and had to go out to ask to be assigned to another room. There's too many stairs in this hostel, sometimes just two steps but going up to my reassigned room there was two flights of stairs 3 hallways and 4 doors. The showers had mold on the walls and there was no where to hang my towel and clothing to shower. I had gotten a top bunk which lacked power outlets and the bed was saggy and you can feel the springs coming through.
Super rude staff, window can't be closed + no heating!! Nothing alike the picture on booking.com
Other guess don't have any respect for people who is already sleeping.
Excellent location. Clean recent bathroom.
Extremely bad/old mattresses to the extent you end sleeping on the floor... Apart from the bed, no furniture in the room, not even a chair or a hook! Staff just polite (less would be rude). No 'hostel' ambiance, no kitchen available (one micro-wave on self service, no cups, no plates, no glasses, no kitchenware...). Disappointing accommodation!
Most of the staff's members were kind and polite. They gave to us all the instructions and the information we need. The hostel is in an amazing location, near Earl's Court (very close indeed to the tube station), and the street is full of hotels and hostel and is nice and quiet all the time. The 24h reception was fantastic. Find someone at the door all the time gives you a boost of security. The room was clean (the trash bin has been emptied all the days and I suppose that someone took good care of the dust too...) and with the parquet. No moquette in the room! (pretty amazing).
Even if I must underline that this is a budget place in which you can stay (and mostly worth the price) there are things that you cannot like: there are a lot of poor people that ask for stay for the night because they are homeless. That was very sad. Or stupid angry italians that cannot speak in english at all and pretend that the staff understand them as well as english. Most of the staff's members doesn't mean ALL (about kindness). One of them was very unpleasant person. She was talking at the phone and she seemed quite disturbed when she saw me waiting to ask her where are the showers. I didn't want to disturb. But I needed a shower and that wasn't a work call. Some of WC are really short in size (but, you know... this is a hostel... you pay less... you must adapt to something) and the Showers didn't have all the time the place in which you can leave your dress while you are inside the shower.
Close to Earl's Court underground, so you can reach anywhere in minutes. Safe BUT dont leave your stuff outside room , you gonna lose something like me
Beds makes noise when squeezing,Bathroom always smell dirt even after they clean it, some stuff are little tough, you dont feel they are friendly, they do not have firm restrictions about those who drink, you smell wine always in bathrooms
Value for money
Too hot room . Can't sleep
The only good thing was a confortable bed
I booked a room because I was thinking it will be as in pictures, with new simple furniture and beds.in reallity it wasn't like this and one bath on 2floors. Wifi is for free 60minutes and then you have to pay for it
