Location is quite good.
A single key for 5 adults very unreasonable and restricts flexibility of movement. Staff were insensitive, quarrelsome and nonchalant. Refused to give second set of keys even after Booking.com intervention. Hidden charges of 500 pds caution fees. No ironing board, direction for use of washing machine and refuse disposal. Will not stay there again.
Location The place is spacious
Pillows provided were as flat as the pan cake Hot water does works even after 2 days of repair Management was very inflexible about parking. We booked the apartment for 11 days after touring other parts of uk and need parking for just a day before we return the rental car. Management insisted parking @ 15 pound per day if require has to be for entire duration and refused to let us have it for a single day. We parked the car elsewhere of course. Tumble dryer that does not work
The apartments were okay in themselves. But broken heaters and oven, missing plugs (no baths, can't wash up in the kitchen).
Greedy company, rude and unhelpful staff. Did not provide me what I booked for and did not refund. Ignored all email communication. Extra stress on my wedding day. Hateful.
Internet connection was really bad. First day we had no internet and only after contacting the contact person several times we were able to have wifi connection only in the livingroom. Furthermore we were told to pay a different amount then what we had booked for on the booking.com site. We however showed the booking confirmation and we we paid the original costs.
Not very easy to access staff on arrival.
The location is very good with a nice view over O2 and the South Dock. The apartment is large and describtion of the flat is correct. Fast service when something was missing.
They are charging extra for late arrival, £6 extra if you do not pay deposit by cash. Small amounts but it is disturbing. A plumber and and electrician need to do a service of the apartment. Flushing of toilets, owen function and ligthing at toilets are not 100%. Sheet and pillow cover were missing for the 5th person, and we could not get that for first night.

not enough bed linen or towels had 2 call them as we wanted to go out cups were dirty on arrival a few cobwebs not happy I had to pay £200 on my card incase of damages and a £6 fee for paying by card who carries an extra £200 cash around London? £6 fee is disgusting and I am still waiting a week later for the £200 back should have been upto 72 hours its been 1 week not happy at all ,didn't have time to look for faults she was there for me to sign the form within 5 mins and I had no copy .
Initial Welcome excellent
All 3 of us working at South Quay Plaza. 3 night stay. All 3 of us sustained several 'bites'. Told Zen Apptmnts and an apology was quickly received and reassurance that our room (No 74) would be sorted out. Wont be staying again (ever) as expected a full refund but although requested this was not received. Also my Apprentices electric toothbrush was not returned to the address we requested it be returned to. Also essential things like a plug for the bath and kitchen sink were not present.

As a mum travelling with young kids (2 and 4) the real positives were: - It was quiet - There was a bath - Layout and size allowed is to spend time there safely and comfortably. - Very close to the tube - Underground secure parking £15 day
Minor snags which weren't a problem: - in places a little worn e.g. loose tiles but given the reasonable price and the positives this wasn't an issue. - there was no bath plug (we improvised) - kids were sharing a double bed (not that they minded)

- Bed sheets were dirty when we arrived - Sofa in the living room was extremely dirty and nasty - The oven in the kitchen didn't work - Water damage and nasty rotten smell in the one bath-room
The place is not at the same address of the main building, I walked all the way to the main building then told by the hotel to walk to the actual accommodation place. The checkout time was 10am, this is the earliest checkout time for a hotel I stayed in my life. I have never experienced such early checkout time before, I tried to negotiate with the hotel to extend the checkout time to 12pm which I believe is the international standard and very reasonable, it was however declined by the hotel immediately, the hotel also threatened to impose surcharge if I do not check out by 10am.

We took an apartment for 6 , it was not facilitated for 6 . Low pressure on the parent's shower . Only one door key . no extra sheets or towels .

Slightly unclear on booking how many beds there would be. As it happens there were plenty, and the sofa was great for sleeping on as well. But we didn't know that beforehand.

Superb balcony but spoilt by having no seat or table on it
We waited few hours for reparing the hot water. I am not sure untill now how much I paid and it is dificulte to find it out. It is sometimes not possible to arrive on "opening time" from airport and you have to pay fee. This is not clear when you do the booking, only after you pay.
Flat was manageable
Wobbly dinning chair led to an accident, therefore wouldn't recommend to those that cannot manage their own safety. A lot of hidden conditions, they interrupted my going away and made me drive 2 hours back home... A lot of hidden costs. Unprofessional staff. Very unhelpful manager, office clerk informed after 96 hours of refund issues that manager does not ring back guests (within same city) but might respond to emails, consequently, you'll be stucked if anything urgent comes up.
Old and tired. Stains on the sofa and carpets and mildew in te bathroom
Zen switched my family to another Apartment and took advantage of their Naivety to give them a lower standard accommodation with only one bathroom functioning. Unfortunately I arrived a day before their departure and caught on. Zen agreed to compensate but is now offering me a ridiculous compensation so we will likely end up in court. They are an unfair company and their understanding of the importance of Customer Service is poor. I could stay at the Ability Place Apartment again if another company offers it but wont advise anyone to deal with Zen again. They are an unprofessional company.
My deposit £200 was deposited and after I complained to Booking.com, I get £194 – the difference was probably the visa charge but I shouldn’t be penalized for this because they shouldn’t have deposited the £200 deposit! £6 is a small amount but it is the principle of this issues I am concerned about. I am very disappointed.
Location was beautiful, space of apartment was great.
Carpet, sofas and beds are all soiled not happy with hygiene. No protective bedding on anything, shower broken in ensuit, flooring damaged and smelt of damp in other bathroom. Quite disappointed with this.
Size of unit was good and when we finally found it, it was in a good position
Couldnt find it. Even taxi driver couldnt find it. Not like picture on internet. All furniture very old and dirty. Carpet filthy. Toilet didnt flush. Light in bathroom flickered. Bath didnt drain. Had to ask for more pillows and tea towel. No information booklet available on how to work stuff in unit.
