We stayed on a Saturday night not knowing there was a party booked for that eve, The volumne of noise was such that we couldnt get to sleep til past 2oclock in the morning.The bed had springs sticking up through mattress, all in all a bad expwerience

Good location for our needs

Poor supplies in bathroom, no shampoo or shower hat. No biscuits on tea tray or chocolate drink. No filter coffee at breakfast time (that is a crime!) The silicon finish around the shower tray left much to be desired as also the shower facility itself. Not everyone wants to be drowned from above by the shower spray.

We. Stayed in the self contained annex which was luxury over two floors. We were well looked after with enough breakfast to feed four we were very impressed with the friendly, accommodating staff.

Cleanliness and smell of damp on entering room. Food was not excellent and breakfast meal had been microwaved. I stayed in a premier inn very recent and standards were far higher

Everything, vey nice hotel, would use again.

Online booking quoted £50 per night but I was actually, charged £55.

Staff were very helpful in helping me resolve my computer problem. breakfast is lovely and the atmosphere very relaxed.

Warm friendly atmosphere, lovely comfy bed, fantastic location for anything ( for me esprcially as round corner from my daughter )

Relatively quiet location away from busy roads

No car park, food was a bit expensive, internal sound insulation not up to standard.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was good.

If I hadn't read the hotels website I would not have known that breakfast was anything other than tea, coffe, juice, cereal and toast as I had to specifically seek out the staff to ask for croissant and full English although these were very good when they came. There is no lift and all rooms seem to be upstairs. The restaurant doesn't open on a Sunday so the only options are takeaway pizza or Indian.

A little dated and certainly no frills

Bed was lovely and comfortable, staff were lovely and friendly, A good choice for breakfast and all freshly cooked to order.

Rooms were a bit on the small side but it did'nt matter as we only stayed 1 night.

overhead lighting poor and not a bedside light for both sides of the bed; young inexperienced staff on over the weekend (Sunday morning) No soap in the basin dispenser - we had our own fortunately

Quite close to concert attended at Knebworth. Good hotel, nice character, better than say travel lodge etc. In nice village, loads of pubs close by, restaurants, take aways etc. Village clean and looked after. Not many shops in Baldock probably need to go to Stevenage for shoping. Breakfast reasonable, we had excellent meal in evening, 3 courses for £16.95, bit like tappas but greek. Would recommend.

Rooms a little dated, bathrooms needed updating. However everything worked and maid did good job and gave us extra tea, milk etc. for room.

The hotel was clean and the room well appointed. Friendly efficient staff.

Had a nice meal on the saturday nite kolinflika ? lamb on the bone recomended,servce was ok also
