Just a 2 minute walk from Dr Grooms Beach, this tropical resort offers lush gardens and an outdoor pool, overlooking the sea.
Score from 68 reviews Good
Located in Castille Hill, this colourful inn is less than 5 minutes’ drive from Maurice Bishop International Airport. Each room features a private balcony with access to the sea breeze.
Score from 35 reviews Very good
Grenada Grand Beach Resort is next to Grand Anse Bay Beach and just over 1 mile from Morne Rouge Beach. It features free Wi-Fi, an outdoor swimming pool and a furnished terrace.
Score from 69 reviews Very good
Close proximity to Grand Anse beach, the airport and other shopping areas (banks, gas stations and supermarkets..etc.) so getting around and making the most of the stay was easy. Staff very friendly and our room had a fantastic view of Grand Anse beach.
The property is a bit run down and "aged", but it was not uncomfortable. Steps can be an issue for some, but there is a golf cart that can take you around.
Great value. Great views. Beach felt like it was private, though it was public. Far from cruise ship section of beach. Food was very good, also. Friendly staff.
The room was good. The customer service was good and the cleaning.
How many steps you had to go up and down to eat or drink. the variety of Breakfast wasn't much as I was a veggie.
Loved the view, the staff was always willing to help and the food and services was excellent.....will definitely return....
The stairs...damage three ligaments on my foot awhile back....when I called for a pick up I was told that I could take the stairs....but that is the only thing I didn't like...
The visit was comfortable as the staff was friendly and tried as best to meet all our needs. The location was superb as it is on one of the cleanest and beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. The view from our room during the day and at night was simply breathtaking. We also felt secure and well protected. We enjoyed our visit.
The facility and the view of George Town from my window.
When getting mony from my card converting to their dollars my rates for service charge was different. The manager that was the most friendlest charged the higest rates on all of my excghanges. The bottom line is where a profit could be made it was but in a pleasant manger.
Booked for a two night stay over the Carnival period. Enjoyed the crab races & karaoke night, my son moreso as won a few bets and the staff surprised him with a birthday cake & song! I liked that you could have a snack anytime, rather than being tied to full main meals at specific times of the day. The room was comfortable and easy to adjust the AC to your own preference. Lovely view over the harbour from the room balcony too. As a first visit spending time in Grenada, I would go back again.
Not really a downside this, but because we were visiting for carnival I would have chosen a hotel closer to St George town, as the hotel was at the end of the chain along Grand Anse Beach. Strictly personal preference, not a criticism.
Absolutely brilliant hotel with very friendly staff even got a free rumpunch on arrival
Pleasant views of Anse Beach
The restaurant menu is very plain, just grilled thingies, not elaborate food...
Items of clothing was removed from downstairs room porch
The attitude of the staff member on reception. The standard of the room allocated. I have stayed at Flambouyant previously and the room and service was of a better standard. I will not be booking to stay there again.
The hotel had buggies to take you from your room to the beach and the restaurant.
I had no negative opinions about the hotel
The beach is the best part if this hotel. Grand Anse is a lovely, long, very clean and safe beach for all ages. Loved the pet tortoises though! Nice clean pool area. Dinner was good. But Breakfast is served in a large sterile room.
The rooms are a bit dated, basically it's a 1970's hotel on a hill so it's a steep incline every time you want to go back to your room. I think it's overpriced for the style, large box style building. Breakfast too pricey.
The location is unbeatable. I like the fact that service is not OTT, that you can have room only. There is a feeling of equality between staff and guests and a genuine warmth in the service. The views form all rooms are stunning
I suppose the steps are a pain if you are getting on although a golf cart can be summoned. The lack of working IT to print off boarding pass was an inconvenience and there seemed a lack of urgency to fix it.
The entire experience was fabulous. The staff were all so welcoming, the guests were all treated like family. It was fabulous, and we hope to have the pleasure of returning in the future.
Great value. You will love this place as long as you do not expect champagne on a beer budget, simple furnishings but very clean.
Need more entertaining personalities.
Great views. Nice pool and bar.
Breakfast was over-priced for what you get. Unfortunately there were no other alternatives without a long walk or taxi.
The view from our room of St. George's was awesome. The room bedroom was a tad small, but had ample storage. We used nothing in the kitchenette except the frig and microwave. The bathroom shower pressure was awesome. All of the hotel staff were courteous and helpful. The hotel's "Owl" bar was a favorite destination to spend the evening after day touring.
Although it wasn't a negative for us, many people would not like the uphill walk from the beach/restaurant/pool back to rooms. We saw it as a necessary minor inconvenience to enable having one of the best views in Grenada! As mentioned by others, the buffet breakfast was expensive, but there are other nearby options.
Views superb and excellent beach
Beautiful view from room. Lots of space in rooms. WiFi access throughout facility. Taxi readily available.
Built on a steep hill. Difficult for people with mobility issues to get around .. Though they do have golf carts to help through some movement. Some of wait staff in restaurant weren't very friendly. Pool needed cleaning.
The friendly staff at all levels. A killer location with amazing views.
I can't think of a single wrong thing we encountered.
Is very close to the beach (Grand Anse) and 10 minutes walk to the supermarket
Overall, is a bit expensive comparing with other places I've been (for example: Perú, Argentina, Brasil)
Everything was wonderful, the staff, the location, the room, and the resort. It sits atop a hill so there are a fair number of stairs to climb to get from the beach and restaurant to the rooms but the hotel offers free golf cart service up and down the hill 24/7. The buildings are older but the rooms were incredibly clean and tended too and very well set up with kitchen appliances and utensils. The view of Grand Anse Beach was awesome! Grenada has the friendliest and most courteous people in the Carribbean and the folks at the Flamboyant were great.
My husband used the gym facilities to work out but none of the electrical equipment was working except the treadmill.
The beach where is located is amazing, The view was beautiful. Service at Front Desk
The stairs to go up to the room. The staff at the restaurant
The Flamboyant could do with refurbishing.
